The "Hot Chick" Cop Out

We all know there are a lot of lovely ladies in movies, TV shows, games and comics. And I'm okay with that; I mean, it's nice to look at something eye-pleasing, right? But sometimes the reasons for including babes gets a little stupid.
I'm mainly making this thread because of my experience with Bleach, but I'm sure there are many more titles out there that unnessaceraly insert pretty girls into the story.

The people who have read/watched Bleach or are atleast familiar with it, will know that it already has a large ammount of sultry dames.
But there are 2 instances were a character reveals their true form to be "a hot chick" for absolutely no reason other than making the audience think, "Hey, that's a hot chick". I wont spoil it for people who might just now be following the series, but I will say that one of these characters is not even human and speaks with a man's voice (atleast in the anime) before they show their "true self".

What are some of the titles you have watched/read/played that introduced - or even transformed an established character into - a hot chick for no reason other than pleasing fans?

WAIT. I just thought of one. All-Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder. I was probably the only person on earth to like the book, but I for the life of me did not understand what that Irish chick was all about.

Well, I saw the anime first before I read the comic.

And when that cat with his gravelly man-voice suddenly turned into some sexy ninja girl, my BS flag kinda went up. This made me think that the studio who made the anime assumed it was a guy before the author decided to make the character a girl.

I didn't even mind the first instance that much, but later on they pull they same trick again.

I would have forgiven them if it was worth much value to the story... But was clearly a disposable character :/

Yeah. I dont see them fillers as having any relivance to the story at all... It just reminds me of what some did with *shudder* lopunny x.x

i think what where forgetting here is Bleach is ment to appeal to GUYS, like code geass, think about the 3 main chicks in this show
