I don't think anyone here is considering the circumstances in which you would have sex (actually from what I've seen it's only a strip scene) in Heavy Rain at least. For other games it may be some romantic side quest, but in Heavy Rain, the only reason you're stripping is so you can get some information out of an antagonist.

It's not really meant to arouse you, it's more meant to disturb you. Although I'm sure the more umm... particular ones among us will get aroused.

Several Japanese game developers would argue that sex can definitely be part of gameplay.

Sexy Beach, Artifical Girl, etc...

Illusion's "interactive porn director sim" games aren't really what you'd call "gameplay".

Also, they bring to the fore a rather embarrassing problem than full on sex scenes are going to have to solve if they are ever to really break the mainstream.

Clipping issues.
