A universe where Marvel's and DC Comics' "Amalgam" crossover had character combinations that weren't F**KIN' RETARDED.

For Example: http://red-rum-18.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2tsm70

Damn. I wanted a Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference...
The first thing the Guide has to say about parallel universes is that they are not parallel. They are not parallel for the same reason that the sea is not parallel: it doesn't mean anything. The second thing the Guide has to say about parallel universes is that they are not, strictly speaking, universes either.

(Typed from memory. Any errors are therefore your own problem.)

A universe where dividing by zero is as basic as 2+2.
Actually that leads to an interesting question (for some value of interesting)... would it be possible for an alternate universe to have a different answer to the sum of, say, 2+2? In this universe it's 4, last time I checked. But what would it mean for some other universe to have 2+2=5?

There's a universe out there, somewhere, that I am attractive, and could ever get a girlfriend.

Maybe...?

Please?

you see, thats a law that no-one could enforce because if you stopped doing it, the police wouldnt be able to arrest you because their pants would be full of cheesecake

that sounds a bit... stupid... to expect most of the people here to do.

i mean, come on. silly is the thing that gave birth to vampires suck, which my shitty friends want to watch because it is so "funny".

silliness must die.
nothing wrong with a bit of silliness every now and again, no matter how smart you are

There are an infinite number of universes, ok maybe there aren't, but let's assume there are, that means that, somewhere out there, there's a universe where everyone's a three eyed hippy with a dog called Nigel,
About that infinite monkeys thing. I think I read somewhere that a monkey with a typewriter and an infinite amount of time, will never write the complete works of Shakespeare, due to behavioral patterns. If you had a random-button-pressing machine assigned to the typewriter, it would, given an infinite amount of time, eventually have typed the complete works of Shakespeare. But not with a monkey. (Although, I suppose, in this thought experiment, the monkey is supposed to be a random-button-pressing machine.)

I also have some trouble imagining the three-eyed hippy thing could exist; but that one can't be disproved.

Edit: There is a universe where I am watching you. Right now.

there is a universe where everyone wears shirts as pants, socks as gloves, hats as shoes, and always goes around with 3 helium balloons tied to their waists.
