Which begs the question: Which work would be most effective against a zombie? I would think a hardcover copy of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I think it would give the zombie something to sympathize with, plus you can bash its skull in once you've lulled it into a sentimental trance.
