Double standard! My worst enemy!!!mjc0961 said:Exactly. It would be "OMG THIS GAME IS TEACHING KIDS HOW TO MURDER WOMEN! BAN IT" and such.internetzealot1 said:This game would take so much flak if it were about men killing women.
In fact, my first thought upon reading the article was a sarcastic rant about how it's sexually biased and a murder simulator and other such nonsense that I don't actually believe for a minute but would easily be said about the game if it was men doing awful things to women (for example, see comments for those in favor of banning that RapeLay game). But then you came right out and said it directly, so agreeing with your to-the-point statement is easier.
It'd be awesome if the controls worked more than half the goddamn time.Dr. wonderful said:So bad it's awful...or so bad it's awesome?
took the words out my mouth, ffs theres a line with equality and its been trampled over these past few years. this is just an atrocious culmination.Plurralbles said:um... if this was a guy getting cat calls from women or gay men(ESPECIALLY GAY MEN!) it would put everyone up at arms.
Prejudice and stereotypes ftw!
Don't forget your dignity, because there's no way you're keeping it after making this game.Straying Bullet said:Disgrace this 'game' is. Horrible. I'd be embarresed to hand this one in. I rather flush it down the toilet, along with my creativity and 'skills'.
Meet our best friend, the Double Standard.generic gamer said:Ok, that was worryingly sexist. Do we get a "*SLAP* Make me a sandwich!" simulator for men to play? Oh no, denigrating women and being violent to them is sexist...
This makes me wonder where this moldy cheese is so popular. Anybody?Sorry, we have been overwhelmed by international orders.
