I'm gonna cheat and do the last four games I played, because I've got things to say about them all.
First up is Enchanted Arms.
It's a very standard JRPG with a hot-blooded, fire-associated protagonist and the rest of the anime cliche pick-and-mix, and the story is mediocre at best. A lot of the dialogue is cliched and forced as well, but the combat system is kind of interesting, and there are some humorous winks to the audience.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements (The revengenance of the retribution of the revolution)
Okay, so I've only played as a mage thus far, but the game has not made me want to try the other classes. The story is shit, the characters are terribad, character level progression follows one strict path with no variety, the controls are clunky and the 'puzzles' are just obscuring the 'continue game' button.
Borderlands (AKA 'But I wanna like this game...')
Setting is kind of interesting, characters are kind of alright, story is very basic. A shooter shouldn't need more, but this is an rpg as well, and that means enemies two levels higher than you can take a firey sniper bullet to the brain with next to no damage, then tear away your shields with one attack and slaughter you. It's annoying, is what it is, and I don't know if it's just me trying out the siren on my first playthrough, but the player is really fragile.
Fallout 3
Yahtzee wasn't kidding when he basically called FO3 and FO:NV the same game. Same engine etc. Still, it's massively atmospheric, the characters are quite interesting and the story is better than most other games I've played recently. Shooting works well, and the quests are usually quite fun. I love working on the wasteland survival guide.
