I mean they're cartoon anime characters, and I'm rating them, they just happen to stream. And I have no idea who Korone is, I only saw English speaking characters.

If its like what Korone is then its not really anime/cartoons. This thread is more about tv shows and such. Not internet trends, which will only become more popular since it allows women and men to hide their faces and not be as easy to dox.
There's a very fun adventure element to this show that you usually don't get as much in anime. Vision of Escaflowne is another good example.
Unfortunately, just like Anno/Gainax's future series (NGE) Nadia ran into some production problems. Something you'll probably notice once you get there.
As mentioned, there's an "arc" (and a regrettably rather long one) that gained a fair bit of notoriety (it starts perhaps 2/3rds of the way in, can't quite remember, but as CasualShinji said, you'll know it when you see it as it's as unsubtle as a brick to the head). Were it not for that, I would rate this series a lot higher and have more inclination to watch it again as while it's a decidedly loose adaption (well, duh, I suppose), it's a very fun ride while the fun ride sections are there.
Started watching Ex-Arm from this season's airings, and... mixed feelings. Interesting premise, but I can't get past that pseudo-2D/3D hybrid animation that's gaining some popularity, which perplexes me as it looks (operative word given I'm not an animator) dumb-ass lazy and flat as all hell from a characterisation perspective.
Finally got started on KonoSuba. I did the first half of season 1, and will watch the other half tomorrow. I am watching on HBO Max. I am loving this series already. It's the only modern iseakai I am enjoying so far right now. I never laughed so hard in a long while.

As someone who fucking hates Iseakai stories, KonoSuba is literally the only one I have ever enjoyed..
Before this, the only other Iseakais I ever enjoyed were Digimon and Monster Rancher.

The only good thing about Monster Rancher is the English opening theme song, and only in the "so bad it's good way."

I would say to check out Log Horizon. I get annoyed with iseakai also, but its really good.
I still like the show despite some of its issues. Still better than most of the modern Iesakai anime.
I heard about it, but I won't be able to make any promises. I got a busy schedule to keep. I am already busy with KonoSuba, and I will be watching all things Dirty Pair Tuesday evening. Then there's that Slime anime, @happyninja42 told me about.

You mean 'That time I got turned into a slime'? If that's it, its quite good and does some fun things with a protagonist.
What are you talking about? Season 2 was pretty cool. It had the raid which was really awesome.

It's Mary Sue the anime. It's so Mary Sue that it out Mary Sues almost all the other Mary Sue anime (of which there are literally tons).
Season 2 showed off that the writer either has never actually played an MMO, or is atrociously terrible at it. So, basically standard for an iseakai and one of the reasons I think it's a trash genre.

Welcome to media, its almost all like that. Slime knows what it is and does a decent job subverting it for the most part.

I watched season 1 like a year after it came out and thought it was basically fine. Then season 2 came out, I watched something like 5 episodes and was disgusted by its terribleness for some reason that I actually don't remember because this would have been more than 5 years ago. All I remember is that the characters were suddenly hit with an idiot hammer and not understanding basic MMO concepts when season 1 had already set them up as being uber competent.

What do you mean? The world was starting to change based on them being there and they were discovering that skills they had from outside the mmo were allowing them to suddenly do things with crafting that no one had thought to try before and also dealing with other player factions and such.
You know what came out the same time as Log Horizon, Sword Art Online. Think about that if you want to talk about jesus.
One Jesus Kun solves his problems by having skills beyond the realm of in-game possibility and hitting stuff with metal, the other one solves problems by shoving his glasses really far up his nose and pretending to be smart.
