Bear of the stars? I'm not entirely sure but I know Ursus is 'bear' and the only thing I can relate Astrorum to is 'astra', which I think is stars...Michael_McCloud said:Also, Ursus Astrorum is a username I use a lot. A gyro to anyone that can translate it. It accurately describes me, IMO.
Aye. Ursus is the male form of Ursa, which is bear, and Astrorum is the genitive plural of Astrum, which is star.LockHeart said:Bear of the stars? Edit: also "Quod Erat Demonstrandum"I understand a little bit of Latin that I picked up from Latatian, but otherwise not much. Can anyone get this though, my old school's motto? No cheating, but extra cookies if you can tell from the motto the name and location of my old high school.

Apparently so. It did have more on ages ago though, but it's been cut down a lot. No idea who made it, although some friends of mine did Uncyclopeadia pages for certain teachers, who knew and could take the joke. Sadly some twat trying (and failing) to be funny deleted half of them whilst trying to make his own with his own stuid jokes. He was an idiot.Lukeje said:Wait... your old school has a wikipedia page?!Trivun said:Discworld's own Latatian, very niceLukeje said:Carpe jugulum...historybuff said:Carpe diem?
