I love the Matrix, not for its action sequences (though they were excellent), but for its philosophy, its suggestions about human life.

Be honest, who's sat through the Matrix and not briefly considered the possibility of it being a reality? And the sheer implications of the plot! Fantastic.

I found the Matrix awesome because of the whole idea. Not the action. The action isn't important.

Anyway, I would love to be the Oracle as I would get to make cookies! and see the future, but I would be a woman...... oh well small loss. (no offence intended). Thanks for the ideas people!

I thought the first movie was "okay", but the other two were total crap.

The story was weak and confusing, the action was over-the-top and stupid and the philosophy behind it, is absolute crap (this guy [http://www.youtube.com/user/confusedmatthew] best explains it in his reviews of those movies).

I also felt that the ending was huge let down (they would have been better off using the ending for Path of Neo, that would have been awesome).

At this point, the only thing I like about The Matrix are the Escapist badges of Matrix characters.

The Matrix is one of my favorite movies. Just the existence of that movie gives me hope for the film industry.
