Ornstein & Smough? Took me about 2 tries to beat them on NG+. But then I ran against them...

Dear God, what the hell happened between first playthrough and NG+? Managed to kill them on my first try during my first run, got stuck on them for over a week on NG+. Always managed to kill two of them. Then died because of that bullshit homing attack that you can't dodge unless you run like 10-15 seconds to the other direction. And when you do that, a second king pops up. Ugh...
Can't wait for the PC version

I finished Dark Souls that was pretty tough. I'm on NG+ now. Preordered the PC version, should be good.
Four kings in dark soul is really a big pain in the ass, especially on NG+7.. Died like 40 times before one lucky attempt to barely killed them all.. Equipped mask of child, grass crest shield, coranthy ring, sunlight blade x 2 and greater magic barrier x 2 is my only option, with an uchigatana+15.. Anything less seems impossible to defeat them.. And freaking have to stick to them like super glue throughout the whole battle.

OT: I guess I'll go with Ridley from Super Metroid. Hardest boss in the game in my opinion. At least on my first playthrough in which I didn't have too many energy tanks or missiles. Second playthrough, I was able to beat him on my first try. It's funny how having all the energy tanks and super missiles at that point can make that fight so much easier.

Hardest I've DEFEATED recently would be Xehanort. His second form was surprisingly pathetic. His first form was nasty though.
I attempted Vanitas' Lingering Will. Nope.
I've recently beaten the Armor Spider in Demon's Souls, which has a particularly annoying web attack that stops you from dodging its fireballs. I've killed quite a few of the bosses recently, but that was the hardest one for me.
In Dark Souls I beat the Centipede Demon, which was bugging me for ages. I ended up killing it by slashing at its foot while it was distracted by eating Solaire.

Fighting Letho for the first time in The Witcher 2. Even on Normal that is the most fucking infuriating bullshit I've ever come across. It's literally just spam traps and hope you do enough damage and then run away and repeat. I must have died over a dozen times and the fight against old tentacle face before wasn't much better either.

I'm currently playing through the Ratchet and Clank trilogy, Chairman Drek from the first game took many attempts, the Protopet in the second was a joke though.
That fight was something, and I had a really hard time with it. Letho did way too much damage--it didn't even feel like Normal difficulty when fighting him.Dectomax said:
