fable 2 last "boss"
/thread

Edit: solutions
A: 1 shot him
B: do nothing and have your team mate 1 shot him after a few seconds
Somehow I don't see this as a thread ender.

It is an opinion thread where descriptions of varying experience were invited.

OP:

A flash game, actually.

You fought with a flying machine where you could align yourself to different attacks or elements.

The final boss was a dodgy bastard, but if you chose the attacks that filled an entire screen full of boss hating, lightning fast, heat seeking death, then he would be defeated without breaking a sweat.
Name of the game would be helpful, but I'm guessing Arrow of Time?
Well guessed!

*checked on the matter.*

Hmm, yes.

* Every single "boss" in assassins creed 1/2

* Dragon boss (Smaugan) in Ninja Gaiden black. Stand in the lava to reduce your health to somewhere around 5%. Start the fight. Do combos: XYXXXY, XYY. Fight over in 7 or so seconds ^^
That IS using the super-secret overpowered weapon which you need to farm enemies for a considerable length of time to get. The same stupidly-stropng weapon that lets you easily beat the worm sub-bosses without taking any damage (If you have the armband of celerity you can charge ultimate techniques in the pause between attacks, as soon as they go to hit you just unleash the attack and you'll be temporarily immune to damage)

Of course, if you make a tiny slip the dragon will one-shot when your health is that low.

I was gonna say that, sorta. Think it also worked with the one in the sewers, and pretty much any undead boss in the Final Fantasy series. Then again, I did get enjoyment out of having Yuna with her ultimate weapon and no damage cap then using Holy.

Oh, and the very very very last boss of Final Fantasy VII.

Borderlands is so ridiculously easy when playing as Lillith with a Jacobs shotgun.
Phasewalk to near your target blow his/its head of. (Ever noticed how there's no humanoid female enemies in Borderlands) I had a Shotgun that 2-shotted the enemies on the last mission, 1-shotted humans, it was a cakewalk and all to easy. I started to ignore weakspots and shoot everything in the groin for fun.

The Metropolis Zone redux boss at the end of Sonic and Knuckles, vs. Metal Sonic. Apparently when they recoded it for the later game, the developers forgot that Sonic had a second spin...
Not to mention the Sandopolis Zone boss from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Just jump at the same time he does, letting him chase you into the pit. Hit him before he falls in. Done.

Halo series: drive, fly, or run away. I remember once, my cousin was on the last level of Halo 2, and there was a plane flying under us, and I was like, dude jump on that, It will fly you there. He fell threw. Gears of War. Press a button. Technically, L4D has Boss "Infected" so teammates.

We've all been in one. A boss battle were the solution to the bosses defeat was so simple that it made you laugh. For me it was the Metroid Hatchers in Metroid Prime 3. Once you had X-ray vision and the Nova beam you could kill them simply by switching on the visor and firing one shot into there weak point. What was your easy boss solution and what game was the boss from.
Feel free to excoriate me if I've been ninja'd on either of these.

At the end of Megaman 2, when you get to the showdown with all of the previous bosses. One or two hits from Metal Man's own weapon takes him out. A very anticlimactic finish to one of the toughest bosses in the game.

And this, from No More Heroes. This is a little beyond the halfway point in the game, which has thus far satirized and skewered anime, transformers, professional wrestling, 8-bit games, Eastern and Western culture in general. And now it's time for the game to have fun at the player's expense. It was unbelievable. The fun begins at 1:17.

The real reason why Letz Shake lost so easily is because they broke the cardinal rule of gaming bosses....DON'T USE A VIRTUAL BOY TO CONTROL AN EARTHQUAKE MACHINE WITH A GIANT BRAIN!
2:55 & 3:11 - That's a Virtual Boy Headset, the controller is on the top of his left hand. You can see more detailed stills of this if you find the cards through the second time playing No More Heroes.

Easy boss fight - In Kickle Cubicle all you have to do is set up some of the blocks that Rooster Cogburn a.k.a. Koke throws at you and when he has a giant ice block in his hand kick a small one at him and he's dead because the bigger ice block fell on him. Also, one of the Incredible Hulk games where the Final Boss is The Leader and you just uppercut him once then you win.

The final boss in Lunar Knights on the DS. I played this game on hard mode first and boy did I regret it, with each boss more challenging then the last.
I fight through the dark castle, get my ass handed to me by the Duke, but beat him. I then think the game's over, but then a plot twist of sorts happens, and I have to go to a giant ball in the sky to fight ANOTHER boss.

After a grueling dungeon full of traps and difficult encounters, I finally reach the boss chamber.
And let me tell you, he looks so menacing with his huge ass claws, swimming through a pool of blood and dismembered limbs,
but all you have to do is use Alexanders trance attack with both characters and he's history. I replayed that boss without using trance and it took me all my energy and healing items to beat him.

Batman Arkham Asylum : Sewer Boss, just keep making him bash into the wall (y)
Thats pretty much every boss fight in AA
This was my pick. To try and make them harder they just added more henchmen. And don't get me started on the Killer Croc section.

Dragon Age End Boss.

"Damn, this dragon looks tough. I'll send Alistair up while Morri- hey, a ballista."

All you had to do was continuously fire one of the many ballistas dotted around the Big Bad until it was dead. What made it so easy, however, was the fact that getting hit by a bolt made the Archdemon go into a "pain-rawr" animation where it couldn't do any attacks. The only way it ever avoided the ballista bolts was to teleport to another location... conveniently next to another ballista.

Funnily enough the hardest boss battle in the game was Broodmother; sadly this was my first boss. Not fun.

Most of the boss in Prototype,

Just use a damn tank
ARE YOU FRICKIN' SERIOUS?!

Prototype bosses are fucking insane, more so in a tank.
The first Super-Hunter you get knocked off any tanks before you can even get in.
Mother does her area attack & one-hits you.
The second Super-Hunter, there are no tanks.
QFTW! Mine is the "Specialist" boss fight in Prototype. He couldn't have been easier to kill Muscle Mass+X+Y. In critical mass yet? Tendril Devastator. Done.
