Go Dai: Elemental Forces for PS2
You have 3 types of attack animations with which to attack 4 types of enemies.
There were only 4 spells each of which you had to earn by completing an entire area, and 3 projectiles.
It was based around a lives system with no checkpoints though you could earn continues, so dying without a continue meant going all the way back to the start of the stage.
That and since the game was just awfully built in the first place dying was easy and killing anything was just painful.
There was no in game story, the whole game was just going to be, beat these four areas in order to beat the fifth and win the game, yes it was so painful and monotonous that i gave up after the first area.
