The Beatles.StonkThis said:The Beatles. They were just druggies... I mean some of their songs were nice, but not that nice. Nowhere near that nice.
Why are you hating on Japan? Because of all the weeaboos and anime whores? You have to go there before you make a judgement. I'm not a fan of anime or anything, but I went there on this JENESYS exchange for two weeks and it was amazing. Way more culturally different than any Western country.AWEXOME said:And Japan.
Organised religion in itself is fine. It's people misinterpreting rules/holy texts or abusing power within such an organised religion that's bad.Duck Apocalypse said:I do believe I forgot that in my small nerd rage. Thank you for reminding me.Thee Prisoner said:Organized religion.
Do you mind if I ask what you mean by that? As someone who was born and raised in a major US city (Philadelphia, if it matters) I can say that just by walking down a single street you can see and experience dozens of unique cultures. Or do you mean that it's just unique from all other cultures?Mr. Mike said:Way more culturally different than any Western country.
Man I even worded that sentence poorly. That's what I get for never proof-reading my posts. I meant that the culture is very unique in regards to the cultural difference between two Western countries. Like, for instance, going between Australia and America, there will be some cultural differences, but everything still has that Western flavour to it. Between Japan and Australia (or America for that matter), everything is different. Even if you find you don't enjoy the vastly different culture, it's still quite an experience.Grey_Focks said:Do you mind if I ask what you mean by that? In my experience, people enjoy the art of the killing joke more than the story.likalaruku said:The Killing Joke: Most over-rated Joker story.
Isn't that from Star wars? Maybe, something Anikin said from episode 2...i think.Spy Killer said:"Sand. It's just millions of tiny rocks." Whoever knows what this is from gets a cookie. No Google-fu though.
Funny, when I read "Killing Joke" the music group came to mind.Wayneguard said:In my experience, people enjoy the art of the killing joke more than the story.likalaruku said:The Killing Joke: Most over-rated Joker story.
