The most persistent troll ever seen.

Those of you who play Mount and Blade Warband will probably have heard of the infamous Elliot Brown, aka virginmary, who has decided to try and troll the Warband community by going into games and teamkilling players. However, his serial key (the number given to you when you buy warband) keeps getting banned from every server, so he simply buys another to continue teamkilling. Right now, he claims to be at his 17th serial key, so he has bought the game seventeen times, over 400 pounds, just to continue pointlessly teamkilling players...

Not that I would want to attract attention to him, but it seems pretty unbelieveable that someone would be this delusional and waste so much money pointlessly buying the game over and over again, but he still persists , even though he gets permabanned nearly instantly from most servers.

Personally, I think its just more money for the developers, but it does mean that people become discouraged from playing the game, which is probably his entire reason.

Any thoughts about this subject?

An old co-worker got permabanned from Warcraft 3 for getting drunk and loudly questioning an 8 year old's sexuality and claiming that he was his true father. He bought a second copy of it (but got the battle chest this time around). But 17 copies? Isn't /b/ enough for him?

If he is a part of a church, and claims he is reaching out to people in game, and has a handy dandy lawyer just hanging around. He could claim that all 17 copies are tax deductible because it is a business/non-profit expense.

Really? I say keep banning him. Let him dig himself into a rut. Or ban his account from servers if that is possible. But chances are, he is finding a way to get a new serial code without needing a new game.


OT: As Professor Layton said earlier, _oo_oo_ is the most infamous one of them all on the Escapist forum. To describe him best, he really doesn't like Halo.

Seriously, I don't think that anyone is stupid enough to buy the same game 17 times. There's no doubt in my mind that he's getting the game for free.

I'm glad someone else didn't just assume he bought the game SEVENTEEN TIMES. If he's just gonna get banned, why would he buy it? He could just get banned for pirating too. He's not even taking a risk.

Indeed. Instead of giving up the guy is fighting for his cause, no matter how moronic and facepalm worthy said cause is.

That being said, he's almost definitely using a key gen. There's no way someone would be stupid enough to buy multiple copies of a game just to keep trolling when key gens are so easy to get.

There are funny trolls, and then just the stupid ones, Buying the same game 17 times, That really is just kind of... odd to say the least.
As for trolls i've seen, only people who say "First!" all of the time and spambots, so not really any of the funny ones.
