American Gangster; I usually love gangster films but man, they hammered on and on and on about that boring cop or whatever he was.

This is gonna get me shot, I know...
Lord of the Rings.
Wow... you know that's actually one of my favorite movies ever. And I would have thought that you might have guessed that the movie was a drama about the time in the very beginning where he was being tortured.Patroclus said:slumdog millionaire (in theater) i left after the part where the kid was getting his eyes put out. That scene really bothered me. Probably the most tragic part of the experience was that I knew absolutely nothing about the movie prior to seeing it and I was expecting it to be a comedy >_<
If you ignore the book, the movie has its merits. But yeah, a book about rats using their intelligence and ingenuity to overcome problems, replaced by using a magical diddly-boo..Sylryeth said:God, i hated the first movie. It had NOTHING to do with the original story. I mean, come on! Mrs. Brisby? Thats not event the right name for the main freaking character!pinky75910 said:Secret of Nimh 2. As a fan of the books and the first movie, I had high expectations. When the final bad guy was revealed, I couldn't take it anymore. Imagine a Catholic School girl, (in every sense of the word) turning out to be Darth Vader. They were murdering a beautiful series..
I had to sit through that crap mall cop movie cause of this girl i went out with, she gave me the giney at the end of the night so it wasn't all fail.educatedfool said:Paul Blart: Mall Cop

well yeah I figured out it was a drama at the beginning of the movie. It was BEFORE i even set foot in the theater that i didn't know anything about it and was expecting something else. I usually don't mind drama, but after a certain point I just found it unbearable to watch.ProfessorLayton said:Wow... you know that's actually one of my favorite movies ever. Actually, by the time this movie came out people were starting to realize that Dane Cook was just a big ole used douche and his star was fading, so the movie was just plain ole crap.Master_of_Oldskool said:Dan in Real Life. About the time he was walking around his house doin nothing buy giving us a nice shot of Dane Cook's face, as if to say "Oooh, look at the up-and-coming star we got for this one!", I just gave up.
Unbearable as in how? Did you think the movie was bad?Patroclus said:well yeah I figured out it was a drama at the beginning of the movie. You didn't like Planet Terror? I love that movie. You know that it was supposed to be unbelievably cheesy to the point of it actually being funny?jesse. said:DeathProof and Planet Terror, seriously what the fuck.....
