I remember this test... I took it once, and it scored me 19.
However, I took another test, that placed me as strongly neurotic. So I hate myself, but I'm obsessed with myself.

Something tells me tests on the internet are bullshit.

(Except that one that said I was socially apt, handsome, witty, above average intelligence, and introverted. That one CLEARLY knew what it was going on about. /sarcasm)

Turns out, there's no funny quips for people who picked all of the narcissistic answers.

Usually I like doing these little internet tests, but the wording in this one is just so off that I doubt I could take it seriously.

I'm no psychologist, but I don't think the questions are all that appropriate. It's like A1: I am a narcissist, B1: I am not a narcissist, A2: Sometimes, I like to be a narcissist, B2: Sometimes, I do not like to be a narcissist, A3: Acting like a narcissist is natural to me, etc.

Thats pretty much what I thought for some of the questions, I also got a 0.

I scored 2.
Pretty sure that's because I said the world would be a better place if I ruled it. And while that would only be true if I could use my power to magic up a utopia, I still agree with that statement more than the other choice.

For all the other answers I was pretty modest though, I'd describe myself as the complete opposite of a narcissist tbh.

Woah, the Escapist record so far! Not a particularly good test though since it can't differentiate between someone who erroneously believes they are better than others and someone who actually is better, and it would be dead easy to get a low score by deliberately answering the "modest" answers. Quite seriously I don't believe I have the disorder despite scoring high enough since I get along well with most people, certainly not bad enough it's a disorder >.>

Isn't that what narcissism is? Not necessarily being better than everyone, but thinking that you're better regardless of whoever you're going against

I suppose but I don't see that definition as particularly useful, whether feelings of superiority are a help or hinder depend a lot on the individual person and their situation. I'll admit I have a superiority complex or two but I'm smart enough not to lord over other people and the confidence is a great help in interviews and job applications, so I think the test fails really to find out whether any narcissism is actually a "disorder" or not.

if you look like brad pitt with the brain of einstein and the charisma of a god and you recognize that fact would it truely make you a narcissist?

only reason i scored that high was because people are genuinely drawn to me and i find it easy to influence them. it is the exact opposite of what i want in life but it is the truth, how does that make me narcissistic?
