Adrian followed behind the rest of the group, allowing the metal to retreat back into his pours. He picked a few hardened strands from his suit once more, not wanting any permanent damage to his clothing.
Sporky, I won't bore everyone, but shit has happened which is why I've been slow posting...hopefully it's sorted now...anyway...
He turns to the 2 new mutants in the group, I thought I only sent you out to collect one mutant Casa?
"You did...I have no idea where the other came from, but he helped us save Jak," Casa mumbles his head bowed.
Well, does anyone want to know anything before I send you off to recover? he asks the group.
"I merely wish to thank you for accepting me into your organization so openly." Maddox thanked the elderly mutant. "My name is Maddox Pitt... Although my mutant name is Stimulus. I'll try to make myself useful."
Wes was struggling to remain conscious while Magneto spoke to them. Not that he retained anything, but part of him didn't want to pass out right in the middle of the group. However, he was jolted back awake by having his shoulder patted. He recoiled away, but only succeeded in causing himself more pain.
He looked up to see who had touched him, and was only a little surprised to see Jak. Wes gave him a venomous glare. He could already tell that the mutant they saved enjoyed causing him pain.

Maddox saw Wes flinch as Jak patted him on the shoulder. The wound in his shoulder must still hurt pretty badly, and he must be feeling pretty sick.
"Hey." Maddox said quietly to Wes. "I might be able to help you with your shoulder... Once we're done here."

"Hey, how did you find the mutant we saved? Like,how do you know that they are there, and they they havent been rehabilitated yet?" Said Jason, slightly suspicious, but mostly just generally interested.
He turned to the two new mutants.
"Hey, what are your names? I'm ashamed to admit it but i got completely lost when we were fighting those guards, so i've only just caught up"

"My name is Maddox Pitt, my alias is Stimulus." Maddox introduced himself. "And I think I might be able to get Wes' arm fixed, but I'll need use of a bathtub, or somewhere else there is lots of heat."
"It's fine..." Maddox explained. "I can pull energy from other sources, it's just that hot water has a very high specific heat... Which means it holds a lot of energy easily. It also means it can lose a lot of energy without changing temperature. The ground can work just as well, because there is a lot of it, and it's very dense."
"Relax... I'm just going to speed up the healing process." Maddox explained. "Now, I'm not sure how well this works. I've only used it on minor injuries, so I don't know how it'll take to a gunshot. Oh well... The best way to test something is to go ahead and do it."
Carl watched the various exchanges going on between the other mutants and thought about joining in. He then realised how tired he was. Looking Magneto in the eye, he muttered something about being tired and made his way back to his tent before lying down on his bed and falling asleep almost instantly.
"Ah." Jacob paused mid step and placed his foot back on the ground, then continued "Why exactly did you send your motley crew to rescue me? I mean, yes... I am good and yes, I was the only Mutant still sane or alive in the facility but I cant help thinking there was an ulterior motive.".
"What's the matter, Jacob?" Maddox asked. "Did you not want to be rescued? I can take you back there if you like..."
Maddox joked with Jacob and then sighed.
"Just be glad you didn't spend too long in that place... Also be glad it wasn't a full reformation facility.." Maddox shuddered from bad memories. "Nevermind..."
