We'll see a load of crappy attempts to combine using a controller and Kinect. They'll probably suck. As for people that aren't whoring out motion controls, I'm thinking we'll see a lot more 'cinematic' games - ranging somewhere between Heavy Rain and the upcoming LA Noire. Just my prediction.

I think it'll be more console games where you can purchase in game bonuses with real money. Not just map packs, but new guns and armours and magic and pets and whatever else, depending on the game.

What I WANT: More stealth-oriented games. And no half-assed tries at it, I mean genuine stealth.
What I EXPECT: Motion-controls and 3D. Shoot me now.

Seconded, I want a new really good Dragonball/ DragonballZ game, hopefully one that isnt a pure fighter
No, no.

I don't mean games, I mean everything! back how it was in the 90's.

Clothes, commercials, dbz themed bookbags and lunchboxes, the whole shabang.

Maybe even a good live action film...

Please?

Good point, I missed DBZ at the height of its popularity, due to being about 5, but DBZ's time has finished :( Its still an awesome show, and DBZ Kai looks like its making the series even better (cutting out the unnecessary crap with anime did admittedly have a lot of) But DBZ wont ever be as strong as it used to be :( :(

Also the Live action film wont work, i mean, you cant turn 100+ episodes into a movie, and some things can only look good in anime e.g Crazy hair and Ki blasts

But's that the thing:

Don't make it realistic, make it unrealstic.

Toriama always went to be funny and over the top, make the movie the same way.

Evo.lotions made an okay movie, but a bad db film because it tried to cater towards people who don't know about DB, and people who had a vaughe idea about it, and fanboys.

The script writer orginall was much more faithful to the original, but the fact that the project kept on going through devolpment hell made it way ddifferent in the end.

Make it cater towards only the last two, and use a viral campaign to get the former catoergory to go see it.

I think the trend for 2011 is re-inventing the FPS.
Would you look at all the FPS's coming out this year that are specifically trying to do something different/going back to the roots?

Brink (the king of the original FPS ideas)
Bulletstorm (back to roots style bad-assery)
Duke Nukem Forever (same style as Bulletstorm, but with a much loved old character.)
Bodycount (who knows)
Rage (Borderlands meets fallout meets motorstorm)
X-COM (50's style FBI FPS)
Spec Ops: The Line (sudden and random landscape shifts, along with vertical shootouts)
Deus Ex: HR (tons of new ideas mixed with old ones, both RPG and FPS style)
Killzone 3 (going for the most movie-like game ever)

And I'm sure there's loads more.

Oh, and 2011 could also be referred to as the year that multiplayer got added to literally eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevverything. If a single title comes out this year with no multiplayer, I will be very, very surprised indeed.
Last I checked...Deus Ex was going to be Singleplayer only.

Oh, oh HELL no! DO NOT put multiplayer into Deus Ex! We need to space for the Single Player! Jeez if they have to, just go with co-op in the storyline, it can't be THAT hard!

As much as id love to see that it probably wouldnt work, that kinda movie just probably wouldnt have the same kind of appeal, I mean most of the over the top humor was in Dragonball, Dragonball Z tended to focus more on combat but it did have its moments. But most people who have watched in countries like the U.S have only seen Dragonball Z and would probably go in expecting a combat heavy action movie. They'd be dissapointed and could possibly turn other people off it, and i dont see many people who didnt want anything to do with Dragonball before going to see this film.

Dragonball just doesnt have the popularity and the abomination that was Evoloution probably just decreased the likelihood of another movie dramatically
