The Next Xbox will be called...

Neat fake name there, would be funny if it was the real deal.

Truth be told, my friends and I never called the 360 by its name anyway, we called it the Xball because it was catchier and used less syllables. So I am pondering with my friends what to call the next one.

Yeah no. Xbox infinity might be a service you can get like Xbox live but the console will be called the 720. It would literally be the dumbest thing in the universe if they dont call it the 720.

Why? The xbox 360 was called that because it was a 'revolution' so what, the new one is called the 720 because its 3 revolutions. Doesn't really make sense to me so i don't get why people are so hell bent on having it called that.

The Xbox 360 was clever because 360° is a revolution; it's saying "the PS3 is just a same-old sequel, this is something new!"
Xbox 720... what is that? A second, unnecessary revolution that brings you right back to where you started? Maybe the name actually does fit...

OT: I'm not too fussed over it since I have no intention of getting it since I'm a PC gamer (Might get the PS4 though, nostalgia and whatnot) but the name doesn't sound so terrible to me, not really getting why people hate it.
