I still can't tell the difference between 30 and 60fps. Am I Hitler but for videogames? Am I destroing this industry by putting innocent games in the gas chamber?

I am with you I can tell the diffence it just seemed to small to care. I have been gaming since before I could read so a small change in quality or reaction time is just part of the game. It alwaysed seemed to me that the people who want to balme things like frame rate for doing poorly or enjoying the game less are just craftsmen blaming thier tools so to speak.

OT: I'm still completely and utterly baffled that people can't tell, but seeing how I can tell the difference between 80 and 90 FPS, I may just have overly sensitive eyes.

It just seems like being unable to tell red from orange... but then I remember that color-blind people exist.

Maybe Tim blinks 30 times a second at exactly the same intervals with the same amount of time distributed between open and closed eyes. I've only seen still drawings of him, I don't know.

Same here. I see the difference. I just don't care.

Unless you have medical reasons or are playing competitive games that really require twitch reactions, I really don't see the point of insisting on 60fps.

I've always wondered when people say that is it just cause they're not used to it and need to just buckle down on it?

Cause when I first started using 60 fps, I was also kinda weirded out by it. It was just so smooth. But after, like, two days, I was pretty comfortable with it and found it more enjoyable overall.

OT: Honestly, there has only been one game where I can totally see the difference between 30 and 60... However, it was only when I was going from 60 (original) to 30 (HD) that I noticed the full difference first hand...

Other than that, even after that revelation, my amount of fucks for frame rate, in general, is about as given as an inconstant frame rate...
