Weird, I didn't apply any filters. Escapist just uploaded them that way. God, Imgur sucks lately too with failed uploads.

Yeah, I agree Imgur has been really spotty as of late. Enough that I jumped ship, to Postimage.org. I like it so far. Little in the way of bells and whistles, but its more lightweight and works reliably.

Thanks, I’ll check them out. Also, looks like Escapist has about a 4MB file limit, which would probably be too small for anything non-jpg above 1080P.

Hmmm. Trying AC EDIT: Origins and it's killing my RX 480. It would flip from 66 FPS to 1. I did have some windows open and a 2nd screen going. I'll try again later 1 screen only, nothing else on to see what happens but GPU temp shot up to 160 degrees F, closed it and back down to 108F. It is a pretty game but I have to wonder how well it is optimized.

Hmmm. Trying AC Odyssey and it's killing my RX 480. It would flip from 66 FPS to 1. I did have some windows open and a 2nd screen going. I'll try again later 1 screen only, nothing else on to see what happens but GPU temp shot up to 160 degrees F, closed it and back down to 108F. It is a pretty game but I have to wonder how well it is optimized.

It runs better than Origins, but yeah, not the best pc version. Iirc, Volumetric Cloud and Depth of Field have the biggest performance impact, so scaling those back or even off entirely might sort you out.

OK, so I turned off the 2nd video output, and closed everything but the game while turning my GPU fan up to 85%. After that it gets too loud. Temps stayed at about 108F. Frame rates dropped into the 20s when lots of things were happening on the screen, like a populated village:

Nice to see the Synchronization mechanic still in force

May just have to play with graphic quality as the game still stutters a lot. But at least it did not blow up my PC.
