OK, so I turned off the 2nd video output, and closed everything but the game while turning my GPU fan up to 85%. After that it gets too loud. Temps stayed at about 108F. Frame rates dropped into the 20s when lots of things were happening on the screen, like a populated village:
Nice to see the Synchronization mechanic still in force
Cut scenes top notch
May just have to play with graphic quality as the game still stutters a lot. But at least it did not blow up my PC.
It runs better than Origins, but yeah, not the best pc version. Iirc, Volumetric Cloud and Depth of Field have the biggest performance impact, so scaling those back or even off entirely might sort you out.
Ooops, gotta edit my earlier post. This is Origins! But yeah, gotta scale back some. Or get a Series One X
