Ghost of Tsushima and Shadow of the Colossus horse comparison (Agro is still the best game horse I've ridden.) made me want to replay Colossus a little. The way it uses pictures for far objects makes the presentation a little unfortunate in high definition. Impressive for the period, though, and easier to compare with new games because a widescreen option was built in. I remember wishing that I could use it when I still had a PS2.
Like how it often pulled the camera way back and above the character for a sense of scale, which is completely lost now with over-the-shoulder cam all the time.
Making grabs in all games automatic took so much away from climbing. Holding, which was also how Tomb Raider did it before the Legend reboot, added tactility and was more engaging.
pcsx2 recommends full rendering accuracy. I still get brief audio stutters every thirty seconds or so.
