OT: I was playing Assassin's Creed and I was just about to finish this long stealth mission but I failed it because a pack of fucking lepers came out of nowhere and EXPOSED ME!! The worst part was they circled me and the soldiers came and murdered me without a single effort from me because I was too busy trying to get away and kept falling down since the lepers were still coming after me. I almost broke my controller when I got killed.

everytime you finish killing a group of enemies and everything should be good and move on with the story... new wave is coming. and the whole time you are forced to use 1 particular weapon to do it. HL2ep2 strider scene, every COD version has them as well.

forced to fire from a vehicle while being chased by enemies, everytime you get your crosshair on them and fire the vehicle rapidly manuevars or hits a bump causing you to miss.

A random glitch in Uncharted 2. I was somehow suspended in midair doing the falling animation maybe 2 feet off the ground. I stay like that for a few seconds, then die.

In Paper Mario 2 near the end on my first playthrough when your in the Chamber of Shadows to go after Peach. Right after you beat Gloomtail you run into Sir Grodus with Peach and your thinking OH YEA IT'S GAME TIME! I was trying to see if I could beat the game with only 10HP and 5FP for a challenge because I beat Paper Mario 1 that way.

I had the Strange Sack to hold 20 items so I only bought enough to prepare me for whatever the final boss might be, and Bowser with the rest I'll leave to luck and karma. After beating Grodus I had 5/9 life shrooms left, 6HP 2FP and 3 dead partners. Who cares now I can go catch Peach right? WRONG! Bowser AND Kammy Koppa show up for a fight.

Bowsers got 70HP, can hit 10's with fire on top of Kammy heal spamming him.
Kammy's got 45HP, is in the air, powerful magic attacks hitting 6-8, and heals both frequently.

Me on the other hand.
HP: 2
FP: 4
Partners alive: Koops and Vivi
Items: 2 Life Shrooms, 3 honey syrup, 2 lightning bolts

With a lot of amazing Super Guard luck I came out on top with Vivi my only living partner.
I now had no 1 life shroom and 1 honey syrup left. 7HP and 5FP to advance. 5 minutes later it's Peach turned into the Shadow Queen with 150HP and un-blockable special unless you have Vivi (XD) OH COME ON!

When the lift doors open at the end of Portal 2 and you're facing 4 turrets aimed directly at you right after GLaDOS grants you freedom.
Yeah, there was a opera right after that and you're actually set free, but still it made GLaDOS seem like an actual despicable b#$%^ for a moment. After all I did for her, she gets her turrets against me again? I mean; COME ON.

This part actually really bothered me. Her justification for letting you go is that you're hard to kill, then she immediately sets up like fifty turrets pointed right at you in an elevator with no way out. Seems like that "hard to kill" thing is solved. Then she doesn't kill you. It's completely contradictory and gives no valid reason for your escape.

I really didn't expect a Valve game to so thoroughly ruin my suspension of disbelief and knock me out of the game world in one of the most detailed, charming and compelling game worlds I've been in. So that's my Oh come on! moment.

If you listen closely to the ending song, you realize that even after deleting Carol, GLADOS still sees Chell as a friend. So GLADOS isn't letting her go because she's hard to kill, that's just her excuse to save face. The turret orchestra is just GLADOS messing with Chell one last time.

Every time I'm cloaked and I bump into an enemy Pyro or enemy holding a shotgun. Since I use Conniver's Kunai and my max health is shit in a bun, four out of five times I'm instakilled.

hehe, i was playing spy yesterday when an enemy spy bumped into me whilst cloaked and i backstabbed him 3 times in a row in the same area (he must have either been really unlucky or just a bad spy). I think he had a "oh come on now" moment then and switched class

OT: Gears 2 bots on insane with their "imma go roadie run right up to you and when in shotgun range instantly no scope headshot with the sniper" .... -_-

My lvl 45 gyrados almost having a stronger thunderbolt than my lvl 46 pikachu's thunder (that just really confused me, it was about 3/4s of the strength of pika's )

Starting wave 9/10 of killing floor (solo/small group) after doing really well with 2 fleshpounds, a scrake and a siren spawn in front of you .... and another 2 husks and a scrake spawn behind you (that actually happened once)

Walking around a corner in killing to be greeted by 4 sirens

Having someone whos highest perk is lvl 1 join an insane killing floor server.... then leave when the round starts (giving everyone else a lovely bigger spawn)

Any CoD *nade thrown up over building and perfectly killing on landing* kill

The beginning of the second level in Gears of War 2 when the reaver starts hitting your vehicle/crane thing. I swear, I put so many rounds into that thing, and it wouldn't fucking die. Still haven't gotten past it.

StarCraft: Raynor must survive and reach point X. 1 yard away from point X: BOOM, Raynor died, mission failed.

I summon Dark Armed Dragon. Nothing Happens. I attack. Nothing happens. Monster is Marshmallon. Nothing happens (1k? Hah!). I activate DAD's effect. BOOM! Divine Wrath, DAD destroyed, turn end, tribute Marshmallon, "hi" says Mobius the Frost Monarch. Direct attack=game over.
(mostly my fault, but still!)

Although there's only one global "WTF!" moment:

The game froze.

Battlefield 2's campaign, whenever the difficulty ramps itself up to some implausible degree.

I'm currently stuck on a mission where I have to fight my way across a bridge, outnumbered 10 to 1, in a game where every enemy is capable of defeating the player in straight up combat. The snipers who support you at the beginning are immediately killed off, so I have literally no anti-helicopter weapons after the first minute.
