Or, when you're just about to reach a Poke centre after a tough gym battle and then...yep, Gary Motherfucking Oak. Also, just about any boss that kills when I've brought it down to its last percentage of health.CakeDragon said:When playing Pokémon, when you're on that last grass tile and you get a random encounter.
In fact, any game where you're a step away from safety and you get a random encounter.

Yeah, there was a opera right after that and you're actually set free, but still it made GLaDOS seem like an actual despicable b#$%^ for a moment. After all I did for her, she gets her turrets against me again? I mean; COME ON.This part actually really bothered me. Her justification for letting you go is that you're hard to kill, then she immediately sets up like fifty turrets pointed right at you in an elevator with no way out. Seems like that "hard to kill" thing is solved. Then she doesn't kill you. It's completely contradictory and gives no valid reason for your escape.
I really didn't expect a Valve game to so thoroughly ruin my suspension of disbelief and knock me out of the game world in one of the most detailed, charming and compelling game worlds I've been in. So that's my Oh come on! moment.
