Isn't it sad that the VGA's are held in such low regard that to compare them to another game show is a horrible insult?

Well, you can't really say they didn't have that coming, with the presumptiousness and all.

Oh, I don't disagree on that. It's just saddening that the Video Game Awards, pretty much the best opportunity for gamer culture to be represented to the mainstream, is instead, well... shit.

Bright side is, according to ratings, nobody watches it. Thank god.

Y'know what? I actually don't care. I watched the People's Choice Awards. Why? Because I actually voted.

Yes, I'm GOBSMACKED that Inception or Toy Story 3 didn't win Favorite Movie over gorram TWILIGHT. That is a legitimate insult.

I voted for Leonardo DiCaprio for "Movie Actor". I'm not disappointed that Johnny Depp won it at all.

House (including Hugh Laurie & Lisa Edelstein) absolutely deserved their awards. Definitely.

Neil Patrick Harris DESERVED his TV Comedy Actor award. So. Fucking. Much.

I was... Surprised by the "Viral Video" one. Don't even know what that "Single Ladies Devastation" video was or when it surfaced. How could "Giant Double Rainbow" NOT win? Nathan Fillion (and Schmoyoho) made it a solid hit!

But y'know what I'm most proud of? What REALLY makes me not care about the other awards? Conan O'Brien won for "Favorite Talk Show Host". Jay Leno? Suck it, you greedy bastard. Conan beat OPRAH. As he said "You don't WANT to win an award against Oprah. It makes Oprah very mad!" But I could care so much less. Conan O'Brien is classy, he's hilarious AND he's the REAL king of late night television.
