Sam slowly opened her eyes, after realising that she had fallen asleep on CJs shoulder. When she fell asleep, her hand had fallen into CJ's lap. She looked around and soon noticed this. She blushed furiously and pulled both her hands back. She looked away from CJ and waited for her heart beat to calm down.
"Heh...um...sorry CJ..."
"Heh...um...sorry CJ..."
CJ smiled at the red faced Sam. "What are you saying sorry for? You shouldnt feel enbarassed from touching your own boyfriend." Then CJ surprised her by suddenly wrapping his arm around her waist. "If you're tempted to touch then just do it dont be scared." CJ whispered in her ear.
Sam hesitated and looked back around at CJ. She was still red faced, but it wasn't quite as bad as it was. She smiled and hugged him warmly. She rested her head on his shoulder once again. She closed her eyes, but didn't actually fall asleep. She suddenly remembered the dream she had had, before waking just a minute ago. Without opening her eyes, she said, "CJ...I hade a wonderfull dream...do you wanna hear what it was about?"
"Sure I would love to hear it." CJ said. I've always wondered what kind of dreams she has. I mean she probably used to dream about her old boyfriend but if she is asking me then maybe its about something else.
She opened her eyes and smiled, "Well, it was about me and you...we were married and we stayed here...the others went back home...a-and we...we hade two kids..." The smile grew wider, "I know it's silly, but...I suppose I have a lot of fantasies..." She looked up at him for any signs of laughter.
CJ could tell that Sam was looking something in his reaction. "its good to dream and fantasize....its what drives us to move on and live." CJ said and paused. "Dreaming is one of those things that make us human and helps us see if we are sane or not...sorry got a bit carried away there." CJ looked down to Sam. "Its good to know that you dream of good things."
She tightened her grip on him and put her head back on his shoulder. "But...one day, I hope it becomes a reality," She said. She closed her eyes again, but didn't sleep. She went back to the fantasizing.
"Yeah.. I hope so too...." CJ trailed off his sentence as he went into deep thought. Why cant I shake this uneasy feeling? Maybe its because of what we've been through but I feel that something big is about to happen. I just hope that whatever happens Sam and the others will be ok. CJ closed his eyes, ,laid back his head, and listened to the hum of the convoy engines.
Sam fell asleep on CJ's shoulder once again, but this time her hands didn't fall into his lap. They stayed tightly around him. With a smile on her face she began to dream, once again, about her future with CJ.
Thirty minutes passed, nothing on the radar, no sign of any incoming ambush or attack. The early morning fog was still heavy over the land. It began to get colder as they got closer to the mountions and there was a low snow coming down. Morgan jumped out of the truck and went over to Rai.
"We should be there soon."
"Your guys trucks are much faster then the one's on Earth."
"You got to tell me about Earth sometime."
Luckily the journey was a safe one. They arrived in the city and the trucks opened up. The mayor of the town welcomed the humans, already had been informed before. The city was large but was hidden in the mountions. Rai was given a jacket, the Ull'navai clothes seem to fit humans well, the jacket itself was much better then humans, inside very thin heaters. Though what would they do next, on this world they expected to colonize it, now that, that is out, will they just assimulate into the Ull'navai society.
Soon Morgan would tell them, if anything with this new power, he might have to take arms with the rebels if humans are also to see any peace on this new world.

So pretty. he thought. "So how safe is this place Rai? A lot of these people really aren't the fighting type. I mean really if anything the only humans who can defend the caravan is me, you, Sam with gun, that Halley if you count her as human, and Greg when he gets drunk. I mean if we are to be attacked our odds are quite against us."
"Also, how did you guys do the psychic power stuff" Gregory asked "It makes me jealous, and can I get a gun please?"

"Well, we got protection from the Rebels, though with their ongoing war with Grazel, might not be the best defense. This city is hidden and has a rebel base so if attacked, it will have atleast a defense" Rai told CJ.
Rai then heard Gregory say "It makes me jealous, and can I get a gun please?"
"Not so sure about that, Morgan and his rebels might not take to kindly to give a gun to a uh... person who is a bit of a... well... drunk."

"Don't go ignoring my other question, and intoxication improves my aim!" Gregory argued as he finished the whiskey and through the glass bottle of the truck while opening a bottle of vodka.
"We get this an injection of some crazy fluid that makes your eyes glow red and give you headaches when you first take it then after that you cant use guns too much cause you need your hands to move stuff." CJ said in one breath."By the way mind if I have a swig I need something to take some edge off."
"Sounds bloody fantastic" Gregory says as he tossed a bottle of Gin to CJ. "I wouldn't need a gun and I could have super powers!"
"Well personally I thought that if our residential alcoholic was to have weapon I would rather him have something that requires concentration to use than some fully automatic hair trigger gun." CJ said after a long draw of gin."Ooo cant do too much of that stuff."
