Don't know how to post the image but: The Political Compass
Economic Left/Right: 1.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.26

Take that botched! Almost perfectly neutral. Sad I thought I'd be more Libertarian though.

Not too different from the OP. Or a lot of the people who posted here.

I'd post the image itself, but I'm using my phone right now.

Considering the outcomes, I believe this test to be somewhat biased towards the "libertarian" side. Quite probably through question wording.
The left-right scale seems reasonable, considering the disposition of those on this board.

Here's mine:
Economic Left/Right: -4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.59

EDIT: Some of the questions were rather difficult to answer, mainly due to the way they were worded.

I believe in a free and voluntary society.
You own yourself.
You own the fruits of your labor.
No one has the right to take from you via force, threats, or fraud.

I don't like some of the questions on it. For example "we are ultimately divided by class more than race". I don't know how it is in other countries, but largely in America, your class and race goes hand in hand.

Just like most of you guys, I'm a *real* libertarian left-wing person. Albeit a bit further to the corner than most. -7 -8 to be more exact.

Captcha suggests "smoking guns" which I think is a brilliant idea. With smoking guns shall we, the libertarian left party called. . . The Escapist Party, overthrow all the worlds governments and (not) rule with complete awesomeness. :D

Not surprising. I imagine that most of us will have similar scores, mainly in the green quadrant. Because I'm guessing the majority of us here are young but educated gamers with little in the way of business ambition, deviant sexual experiences, or political reform (could be wrong on any of these of course). Who wouldn't strongly agree with 'School's primary role should be to prepare students to find a job'?

I've taken this almost yearly for 5 years, and have always been disappointed by how little it's changed. Many of its questions are still incredibly flawed, and it's outputs are no where near correct in scale. I'm in the (7.0, 0.0) neighborhood just judging myself, but it puts me at (3.12,3.08). For example, while I'm in favor of almost complete economic freedom, I don't believe "What's best for the biggest corporations is best for everyone." Another is that while I agree a one-party system avoids arguments multi-party systems have, that is a fact and should not be mistaken for an approval of a one-party system as a whole. about 3/4 of the questions have problems like the ones I just listed. I'd say this is my last year taking it, but that probably won't be true.

TL;DR: I should really probably in the purple quadrant, but hate this test.
