Playing on PC were I don't have to rely on a redundant network to play my games and I actually got portal 2 for PS3 so I could get the free copy for PC and still rock with my PSN friends. At least we have the free PC version and portal 2 runs well on the non PC gamers laptops. Tired of all the bullshit outages for the console networks jesus at least let us connect through IP so we can co op with friends at least.

I've been playing Portal 2, finishing Single and Co Op, and then going to laugh at my one friend who is PS3-centric.

I wish I had internet compatible with my PS3 where I live now for University...
But if I DID, and the PSN was down, I'd be annoyed I couldn't redeem my Steam version of Portal 2.

Actually, I already am annoyed about that...

Hmmm, I wonder if I have friends I can use the internet of?

I'm bummed out that I can't get access to my free PC version of Portal 2. I've played the game through twice, but I don't really feel the need for a third time.

Thankfully, I haven't been into any multiplayer games for a while.

Maybe I'll revisit Dragon Age 2. [sub]I can't believe I just said that.[/sub]

Playing Persona 4 and Bioshock. I really always seem to be a few years behind. Kinda pissed at the PSN cos I wanted to download the free extras for Folklore

Also, I just finished Maskerade by Terry Pratchett. Apparently hes been writing brilliant books for years, and noone told me.

Playing around in Dissidia 012 and FINALLY starting my first playthrough of Tactics Ogre (I bought them both at the same time. Dissidia comes first.)

I've been playing games offline, which is what I usually do with my PS3 nowadays.

Only game I ever really played online on it was Call of Duty 4, which I now have on PC. >.>
Likewise, I didn't even notice that PSN was down until I heard about it online. I've been playing the Valkyria Chronicles DLC and Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes all month, neither of which require PSN. Sengoku Basara has 50+ hours of content even if you only beat each character's story once (16 characters x 8-12 battle per route x 10-30 minutes per battle), and it's got well over 100 hours if you decide to fully complete it (3-6 routes per character on 4 difficulty levels).

At this point, as long as PSN is back up within a month or two I really don't care.

Netflix and Majin & The Forsaken Kingdom.

Since Netflix still works on PS3.
Still working just about everywhere else too. PSN going down doesn't really have much impact outside of PSN.

And it changes nothing for me. My only online PS3 game is Metal Gear Online. I think you understand.

Im being happy.
I was this close to buying Mortal Kombat 9 for PS3 instead of 360.
They didn't have a copy in stock.
I bought the 360 version, came home, "PSN Down!"

Mostly I have been playing Mortal Kombat, climbing through the arcade ladders with every character, 7 down, only 17 to go... my god thats a long way. Other than that I have bought Infamous and are playing that from time to time. Other than that I have been either surfing the internet or playing Xbox instead
Would you recommend Mortal Kombat? Ive been a fan of the series for a while and the demo was fun, but is there enough content to warrant a purchase?
Mortal Kombat 9 is packed full of content.
Even if you are playing offline there is enough content to keep you playing 30+ hours.
Challenge tower, roulette battles, story mode, team ladder.
And then there is the actual online play which adds another hundred or so hours.

200hours if you're going for all the trophys as well... I was playing it earlier this year, got it for cheap and didn't really expect much from it, but I ended up spending around 90hours on it... Still plan on platting it someday, when I have more time anyway.

Portal 2 and sundries (TF2, HL2 Deathmatch, Counterstrike, source mods) on PC, lots of XBLA (Castle Crashers, Ikaruga) and Wii (Cho Aniki, Metal Slug) stuff, and digging into the PS2 vaults (Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3).

I got battlefield 2 bad company on Amazon for $10 for computer. I'm only slightly affected by PSN going down since all I want is FF7 for psp.
