The Q in fail...

There, I already said it for all the people that want to say it in their post.

Anyway, one day a long time ago I was at my friends house, and we were having a party. So we whipped out the Super Smash Bros. Melee (I said, a long time ago). We decided to have a 64 man tournament where it was 8 players against 56 cpu's randomly assorted in a 64 man tournament. It ended up being me in the finals against a level 9 Fox, which everyone was surprised to see, because while i wasnt exactly bad, I managed to get to the finals...with pichu. So in the final battle, it gets down to me and Fox both having 1 life, 0% damage. After a bit more fighting, i get pushed off the edge, and instead of pressing B+Up to save myself, I press B+Down...Everyone watched in awe as i managed to thunder myself into a sparkly grave (I actually managed to get less damage than Fox). After everyone wakes up from what just happens, someone says "Fail." Someone else says "No, that put the capital P in Fail (assuming you spell it Phail)." Someone else (my best friend) yells out) "No, you just put the capital Q in Fail!" (No spelling really relevant, but we assumed it was QPhail.) I just sat there in my own disgust at myself.

So I ask you, what have been your gaming QPhail moments? Preferably multiplayer moments =D

The very first time I played CoD4 online (Search and destroy), at the request of my friend, I mowed my way through about three guys and got to the objective only to find that I did not know how to plant bombs. I was subsequently killed by a random grenade.

EDIT: Another good one would be killing myself three times in a SSBB match playing as Cpt.Falcon, if you do his B ---> off a ledge it puts you in that mode where you can't move or jump.

Once in Halo 3, a Brute threw a stick grenade at me, and it bounced off me and stuck to him.

Best. WTF. Ever.

It came recently, I called in a care package in MW2 and it bounced off 3 walls and landed on me. I was standing 20ft away from the smoke. worst luck that match 1 to 20 KDR

You have to get your emotion level really low to achieve that.

Why didn't you drop the shield?

I guess I should have clarified it as "suicide in a game"...

Occasionally when im trying to arch a grenade to bounce of walls for a tricky shot, it ends up clipping something and rebounding back into me, sometimes i get away, sometimes i don't.

Star Wars Battlefront II. I had just epically pwned all of my friends, and as the match was drawing to a close, I cornered one of them with 0 ammo or grenades. Wanting it to end spectacularly, I shot him with the RPG. At point-blank range. Next to a wall. And ostensibly was not made of metal. I believe the end result explains itself.

Probably one of my numerous QPhall grenades in about any shooter. Most of the time it's me trying to throw over a short wall and ending up just throwing it at the wall and back to me.

Can you just drop it w/out picking up another weapon?
