The Quote button.

If I?m alone on this subject, then it?s going to sound very strange and random.

But, ahem...Does the Quote button ever work the first time you press it?

For some reason when I click it, it brings me to the bottom of the page but without actually working, this is pretty annoying because I always have to scroll back up and find where the post is and click it for the second time.

Is this just me? Or does this happen to everyone?

But it sounds like a pretty weird problem.

It happened to me when I first joined for quite some time, then it started working just fine.
I have no idea why, I think the site went buggy and it worked for me after they fixed it.

May I suggest checking with the Tech Team about it?

Currently, mine works fine.

I'm running Win 7 and the regular IE, and yes, I press Quote and it refreshes the page only, then I scroll back up and hit quote again, and it works.

I get that sometimes. I too use Win 7 and IE.

Not often, but it can happen. Also, you may have Java turned off, which makes it so you can quote people.

And it always works for me to press the Quote button. Except when I used IE for a short while. Then it refreshed the page and I had to click the Quote button again so it'd quote the post I wanted to quote.
But I use Firefox now and it always works.

That might be it. Not sure why it happens on IE, but it works all the time on Firefox for me.

Huh, I feel bad for wanting to kill someone who regularly didn't quote people now, he must have been having the same problem you are.
