I have not seen the movie, but goddamn, that video, with the music, makes it seem like the saddest bastard ever.

A few... Leaving Las Vegas, A Perfect World, Bringing in the Dead... but the one that actually brought full blown tears was Of Mice and Men.

Edit: Forgot about Truth or Consequences... the end.. that one welled me up a bit.

Well, ET comes to mind.

I am Sam
Grave of the firefiles

But oddly, the one thing that made me cry, and I'm talking about sniffles. I'm talking about flat-out brawling.

I'm talking about Pluto, the end of the sixth volume.

Spoilers up ahead.

Why [http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html?ch=Volume+06&page=189] does [http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html?ch=Volume+06&page=190] it [http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html?ch=Volume+06&page=191] hurt [http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html?ch=Volume+06&page=192] so [http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html?ch=Volume+06&page=193] much? [http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html?ch=Volume+06&page=194] Never in my life has I cried so damn hard at somehing. Please note that this is based off of an Astro Boy arc: The Greatest Robots in the world. God, I love this manga.

The Road isn't really sad, well it is, but it is more just a very, very depressing. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was extremely sad. Cried like a baby.

Two pages in and no mention of The Road?
Seriously this movie is so depressing and sad it is beyond belief.

I went to see this at a draft house with like 5 other guys and we all stopped eating our meals because it was so depressing.
Just posted before reading yours. I also stopped eating while watching it. Aferwards I just kind of wandered around my house, no direction, just thinking about what I watched.

Patch Adams is heart-breaking to me. It seems counter-intuitive for a movie about a clown doctor, but it's sad near the end (you know what happens if you watched it).

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It's about a little boy who's dad is a colonel in the army so they have to move so he can be close to work. One day he sees a boy on the other side of the fence near their house, he's wearing striped pajamas. The two boys become friends through the fence.

Anything else would spoil how it's the saddest thing ever.

I cried hard at the end of Iron Giant, The Bucket List, and Saving Private Ryan.

I have never seen UP before but that video had me drowning in tears.

No amounts of Hitler rants or Fegelein shenanigans could soften the blow of this film...

I think a film that manages to make you feel sorry for Hitler & Friends is doing something right.
When I watched it I didn't feel sorry for him, I saw an increasingly distressed madman going madder, while the people around him acted out their own forms of escapism to avoid the realization that they were all fucked.

Still a great movie, but sympathy wasn't the feeling I got for Hitler.

Up until I saw 'Buried' I really disliked Ryan Reynolds, just thought he was another bland pretty boy. But man, that movie completely changed my view on him and hurt like a *****. I finally decide I like the guy, only to be punched in the heart. Ouch.
The Professional isn't the saddest movie ever, but I still tear up every time the ending comes up and when that Sting song starts to play. Such a spectacular movie.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It is such a great movie and a lot of it is somewhat lighthearted, but that sure changes later in the movie.
