my step brother has had a few very creepy things happen to him. Lol wish he could explain it to you all, but he's not the type of person who goes on websites like the escapist.

So far the only scary thing to me was the dog thing on the second post, only due to the fact that I was expecting everything to be in the spoiler bars.
Check out Waverly Hills Sanitarium in (near?) Louisiville, KY. Been there, got thoroughly creeped out and I'm not easily scared. There's a documentary about it (and a movie but I didn't like the movie). The brothers who made the DOC made another one about a street in the backwoods with ghost children hauntings. Try watching those alone in the dark...or stay the night at Waverly. Good luck!!!
Edit: Like an idiot, I am viewing this right before going to bed. The next day I was able to enter Urakami on foot, and all that I knew had disappeared. Only the concrete and iron skeletons of the buildings remained. There were dead bodies everywhere.
On each street corner we had tubs of water to be used for putting out fires after the air raids. In one of these small tubs, scarcely large enough for one person, was the body of a desperate man who sought cool water. There was foam coming from his mouth, but he was not alive.
I cannot get rid of the sounds of crying women in the destroyed fields. As I got nearer to school, there were black, charred bodies with the white edges of bone showing in the arms and legs. A dead horse with a bloated belly lay by the side of the road.
Only the skeleton of the Medical Hospital remained standing. Because the school buildings were wood, they were completely destroyed. My classmates had been in one building attending their physiology lecture. When I arrived some were still alive.
They were unable to move their bodies. The strongest were so weak that they were slumped over on the ground. I talked with them, and they thought they would be okay, but all of them would eventually die within weeks.
I cannot forget the way their eyes looked at me and their voices spoke to me forever. So many people died that disposing of the bodies was difficult. We burned the bodies of my friends in a pile of wood which we gathered in a small open space. I clearly remember the movement of the bowel in the fire.

Maybe this is why I'm not scared by the thread? After a real account like this, made-up stories can't faze me.

2) Don't make a noise. Every whimper can lead to destruction.
3) Don't move. It attracts their attention.
4) Only light can make them go away. Bright light. Flashlights make it worse.
Teens are caught in the middle. They still feel what's there, but they cannot see... and they forget the rules....
Why do you think there are so many insomniacs typing at their computers, subconsciously praying the light from their monitor will be enough to keep -them- away? .....

I was just a few paragraphs of scary stories, and it turns out that they aren't actual text, it's a digital image of paragraphs. And it's really a gif animation. So after about a minute of reading the paragraphs this freaky-ass face comes out of the picture of the text and it made me crap my pants.Mr.Mattress said:I second this.
