So i know by now not being a totally newbie to this forum that the search button is thrown at thread repeaters in a timely nazi ass fashion. I admit i use it if i question what im about to post. However...(and getting to my point of this thread) Does anyone else think that the search button plain out sucks ass? I've typed in EXACT titles to threads that I've started and can't even find what i myself wrote. -_- SO i reckon that before anyone yells at someone for repeating a thread. maybe they themselves should use the search button to see if the thread they're yelling about even appears on the results list in the damn first place >.<

Yes, the staff have admitted it's bad. And they'll fix it sometime .. But people whining about searching doesn't make much of a big deal out of it. So if you've used the search button, ingore them, yes?

How else can you expect people to get thier post count up? You could not respond to the thread or put some thought into a post but it is way faster to post "use the search button this thread has been done"

But as to why people dislike threads being done before .. Well. It's annoying having to look through five diffrent threads for the answer you want, when you could just have to look through one ..

Not only did the OP in question join the site a month after me, but they have over 400 posts - I think that hardly counts as new. I don't recall using the word "moron" to describe new members of the forum - just stated that the majority don't use proper spelling and grammar - which is true, and that the OP needed to work on that. It was a joke - hence why nobody bar yourself took any form of offense to it.

Maybe if someone took the time to realize that the guy he is criticizing joined one month after him, obviously knowing he's not new, considering he has 500-some posts, and he was just criticizing his grammar considering he's been here so long and he's still using internet shorthand.
