It's nice to drink from a bottle with a story behind it. It's a shame it has such a horrific story :/

The bottle vs The story. Its some kind of twisted ying&yang, if you can keep them in balance you wake up with a really profound experience. As if the bottle encapsulated splinters of its past and now they are pouring into you...or it might be just the alcohol.

It bared an alarming similarity to being kicked in the head. You have to be careful with that stuff, it'll very easily kill you. I just had one shot and it almost knocked me out cold.

I don't know about the strongest, I don't keep track. But the most delicious was a bottle of honey rum I bought at a convention charity auction. Well worth the 110.

also there are two types of "proof" the older UK kind (not really used anymore) where 175 is 100% alcohol, and the US witch is just double the volume %.

All alchohol is poisonous to humans. Increasing the % doesn't suddenly turn it from non-poison to poison. The same effect as 100% pure alchohol could be acheived by drinking just a slightly larger amount of 95% alchohol.

I'm pretty sure that when you feel alcohol "burn" your throat, it's minor cellular damage due to the things u just said. after all, liquer makes a pretty decent cleaning agent for a cut, and THAT burn is because it's killing cells where it contacts them before being diluted.

i hate to tell ya but moonshine is stronger and for all those that don't know 1%=2 proof. ive had moonshine that doesn't bubble. since moonshine is illegal it didn't have a proof but connoisseurs know that the stronger a drink the less bubbles are made when you shake it and they last shorter amounts of time. id say it was 97% or 194 proof. its not even fun to drink at that point though just tastes like your drinking fire

Pretty sure that 100% pure Alcohol is basically poison and will likely kill you. 95% is the highest it goes, and that's deadly and illegal in a lot of countries.

You can't get over 95-96%
At that purity alcohol is a gas.
