I liked Altair too, if only because he starts off as kind of a prick, but learns his lessons by the end of the game. He learns that following the Creed was more important than his pride and egoFleetfiend said:Now I feel like I should have read those. I loved Altair as a character, and I'm not sure why... he was pretty straightforward, and relatively bland. xDNinjaDeathSlap said:Reading the Codex pages from Altair in AC2. When playing AC1 Altair was not what you'd call the most likable game character ever and in comparison to Ezio he was about as sympathetic as earwig, and this is excluding that they are both fictional characters when all is said and done. But reading about his life leading the Assassin's order after Al Mualim's death. The losses he suffered, the things he gained, and just generally seeing him progress though old age to the last entry written pretty much on his deathbed. I really felt for the guy.
