Have you ever made a thread that barely anyone or even better(or rather worse) noone replied to?
I have had a couple that didn't go so well with only like eight replies, but I want to know what the post was, how many replies it got, how well you thought it would go?

P.S I give this thread an 80% chance that it will flop

Most of my threads peter out after a couple of pages max. I had one that looked to be going strong, but it got locked.

I will now add a shameless plug for the thread I just started here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.133223], which I'm hoping will fare better.

you have to nurture them and take care of them like you are growing a plant. If you dont come back to water it and make sure its getting enough sunlight it will die

Is it ironic that one of these threads appeared about a month ago?
I'll give the same answer again: on an old Nintendo forum I made what was called the Map Swap Thread (back in the days before the Wii when the Gamecube couldn't go online) and everyone ignored it because it was a stupid idea.
Don't ask me why, I thought it was a good idea at the time.

I made one with absolutely no replies...I think I made it at a bad time and nobody noticed it...

I did a thread search and one for your best thread came up but that was about it

But that's only at the beginning. After it's all grown up and can sustain itself on its own you've gotta let it go. You can visit it from time to time to see how it's doing, but if you raised it right, it'll be just fine on its own.

Not really successful ones, but they didn't flop like that.
I have made... 2 threads. To be honest I didn't mind how successful they would be, if people wanted to post then they did, if not, they didn't.

Mine usually fall out of sight in an hour or so. In the end it's just a forum thread, no big deal. [small]sniff[/small]

I've made 2 with no replies. The last one was about G.I. Joe reinvented if I remember correctly.

Well it depends if its a seasonal thread or not it might need your help coming back into bloom

I've made a thread with NO replies (2 or 3 views). And no,it wasn't locked.

For those who are intrested,i've asked was there prison blues [parody] in Secret Agent Clank,or not.

I'm not objecting to this being posted, it's just I remember one being posted because I wrote a similar post for an answer.
Also the search button is quite unreliable, I think it ignores very recent threads.

Mine disappear off the first page within moments.

It seems like only the same repeated threads work for long, which seems retarded.

If no one is saying "Search Button", then your thread will fail.

True, or if some animals come in and try to eat it (trolls), it might need your help fending them off.
