So, I wonder if you guys ever have had any of those: Wait, what?-experienced during gaming,
it be something an anoying 12 year old said on mic or a funny easter egg planted by the devs.
My latest encounter with such a thing was a few days ago when I read the information about the new Locations in Lion Heads upcomming title Fable III, the locations name? "Morning wood"
childish, yet funny.

I get that alot when i stop following the plot. The other day i was playing RDR and my horse just died(from heat exhaustion) it was strange and a Wait, what.

Secrets wise i found the sly cooper 4 poster thingy in infamous. I like my easter eggs, even when its not easter.

Finding Jack Sparrows grave in Fable was a good touch by the devs.

Also in Final Fantasy 9, when the band your with plays the theme tune from Rufus' welcoming parade in FF7, that made me smile.

In Fallout 3

When Eden asks me to put the virus that kills all people with a mutation into Project Purity. It baffled me, because no one with any sense of Self-Preservation, good or evil, would take this choice. Because you aren't pure, you also have some form of mutation, so this would kill you as well. It is stupid, and I told him it was stupid. Then he exploded and took the entire Enclave base with him.

Definitely a "wait, what?" moment.

Same thing happened to me a couple days ago. I thought it was from the horse pills I fed it/I had ridden it to death. =P

It's either a glitch or some clever codeing

Didn't he explain why you would survive doing that?
And for me it would probably be the time a Robobrain fell on me when I was walking through Old Olney

probably one of the moral choices in operation pitt on fallout.i had the option to steal someones baby and shove needles in it or condemn a bunch of slaves to inevitable death.they both seem bad.also not being able to get my stuff back after winning the arena in pitt.i havent even looked at the game since operation pitt robbed me of all my weapons and armor.

He says you would live because since you were born in a vault, your "pure".

Which is a complete load, since you eventually learn you were not born in a Vault. And neither were your parents. So yeah.

He said it was because of your upbringing in the vault.

I preferred finding the grave of Molyneux himself; it definitely made me do a double-take.

What? There was a footlocker with all your stuff in it right in front of you when you beat the arena.
Also, I thought the whole point of The Pitt was that you don't know what is right or wrong, everything is grey. You have to decide what will be better in the long run, and be prepared to make sacrifices.

But the mutation is still in you. Your still not pure. I guess you could say your emotionally and socially pure, but physically you still have a slight mutation due to you and your parents being born in the waste. Just because you live in a clean environment doesn't mean your physical deformities are completely cured/fixed.

In RDR the first time you meet a certain member of the animal kingdom you will probably scream something along the lines of "WHERE DID THAT FUCKING COUGAR COME FROM!"

And the zerg rushes made of bears in the northern part of the map that is a wait what moment right there too.

Uhm...no.
since the main character grew up in the vault he has only recently been exposed to the contamination and he does not have enough of it for him to die.
btw, I was evil and in my play-through, eden didn't blow himself up and I made the girl go into the irradiated chamber while I sabotaged it with the virus.

OT: Most of the things in the Ratchet and Clank games and also the ending of Shadow of the colossus
sooooo, it worked with the whole, resurrection thing but now the spanish inquisition or something like it is here (and it took them several hours for some reason) and they want to protect the holy stuff (is it the ghost/light or the statues?) from evil (ghost/light and guy). And were the statues guarding so that the ghost/light couldn't get out or were they him broken into several bits by the spanish inquisition to seal him?
Also, after the hero absorbed the "essence" of the ghost/light he is transformed into it's true form? and what the hell was that well? why didn't you just trap him there in the first place instead of locking down this huge place?
and is the baby the main character or the ghost/light or a combination, because if there is any of the main character there...it means that his mother is his lover.

Well, drinking purified water for 19 years and being clean might have helped...

"This is the greatest grave in history and will change the way people look at headstones.
-P.M."
I nearly died laughing. (I think it's just outside lady grey's tomb in the royal garden place in Fable II)

OP: I got this feeling at the end of RD: Redemption...
John got gunned down and I found myself playing as Jack some years later. I reloaded my last save to make sure I hadn't fucked up somehow.
Hermes turned into a swarm of bugs when he died. What the hell, was it symbolism? Then of course there's the ending, someone going on about "hope" and all that. I didn't think they let girls in the God of War writing staff.

It doesn't matter if you grow up in the vault! If you contaminate the water, if you have Broken Steel installed the water that results from it can and will kill you if you drink too much of it.
