This is an RP based on Warhammer 40k. Look below for the background story. I know my profile only has a few posts, but I have actually been in and created quite a few RP's, just not on this site.


To clear up any confusion, Space Marines and Grey knights will not be in this RP, as they will outweigh any other race by far. I am sorry for the inconvenience. This includes Chaos Marines as well.
It is the 41st Millennium, and the Universe is at war. A scouting ship floats through space, on an unknown mission. You and your crew have been sent to scout out an enemy presence on a nearby planet, when a wormhole opens up and your ship is sucked in. Nobody can predict where you will end up, but it most likely will be somewhere unfathomably far away. As the wormhole opens up again, a cliff face looms in front of you. Your pilot is the best you could find, but not even he can stop the crash. As your ship hits the cliff, you grab onto something that won't rip away on impact. Then, everything goes black...

You wake up to alarms and flashing red lights. Your crew are all either dead or...gone? You open the door to the outside, and find that you can't see anything. You close the door and look around. where are you???

You are stranded in the Webway, an intricate maze, all in black darkness. This isn't a planet, but something else. It is just there, a structure in the warp. The Webway is an ever-changing maze, one that only the Eldar harlequins have ever been able to navigate and survive in. Your ship is ruined beyond repair, but it looks like you can salvage some items before exiting the vehicle. Scanners report the air is clean to breathe, so you don't need anything to clean the air.

Here is the format your character sheet MUST have.

Name: Your character's name
Gender: Male, Female, or neither?
Age: self- explanatory
Race: Pick one of the 40k races, which will be given later.
Special-talent: Each character may choose to have one special talent or modification, in order to make things unique, so long as it doesn't overpower others.
Items: You can choose up to six items to take out with you. If you pick a weapon, only a race-generic pistol or similarly weak gun can be picked, to keep it from being overpowered. Any questions about other items, PM or just ask in your post.
Bio: Give your background story.

These are the playable races in the 40k world.
Imperials: The loyal army of the Emperor. The Imperials are mainly foot soldiers. If you choose to play Imperials, you will be a generic solder.

Witch Hunters: Witch hunters, otherwise known as the Inquisition, serve the Emperor in eliminating Deamons. If you are a Witch Hunter, You will be a Battle Sister.

Tau: The tau are an advanced alien species, only recently discovered. The have convinced many races to their cause with their only warning, "Join us or die." As the Tau, You will be a fire-warrior.

Eldar: The Eldar are one of the oldest races in the galaxy, but are a dying race. Long ago, Eldar greed and corruption brought th Demon god Slaanesh into being. Now the Eldar wander the galaxy in craftworlds, giant ships, as a dying race. Any Eldar player will be a Guardian.

Dark Eldar: The Dark Eldar are those who stayed to greed and corruption after Slaanesh was birthed. They now resort to torture and killing for fun, as their minds are twisted and evil. Any Dark Eldar Player will be a Wyche (Pronounced "Witch", if i'm not mistaken)

Necrons: The necrons are ancient creatures, their age unfathomable. They are alien consciousness inside a metal body, sleeping for eons on tomb worlds before being awakened. A necron player will be a Necron Warrior.

Orcs: Orcs are, well orcs. Big green creatures, large and fast to reproduce. Orcs are living fungi, and thus reproduce through spores. Often an orc invasion is a green tide on the horizon. Orc players will be Slugga's or Mek boys, and may have two characters with them to make it more likely they will survive. Orcs have a more primitive form of language, and thus speak very crudely. If you need an example, let me know.

Tyranids: The Tyranids are yet another hostile alien race. These creatures are bug-like in appearance, to a degree. Tyranids will stop at nothing once they set out to conquer a planet. Most have razor sharp teeth or can spit acid, or some other sort of bio-enhancements. A Tyranid player will be a Tyranid Hormagaunt, and can have four more tyranids with them,, and they die faster than most races. Tyranids are incapable of intelligent speech, recieving only basic commands from a hive mind.

Daemons: Daemons are obvious. There are four chaos gods in the 40k galaxy, Khorne, Tzeench, Nurgle, and Slaanesh. Khorne is the god of bloodshed and war, Tzeench the god of change, Nurgle god of plauges and pestilence, and Slaanesh the god of pleasure. If you are a Daemon, you will be a creature of your god's aspect. Khorne's Bloodletters, Nurgle's Plaugebearers, Tzeench's Pink Horrors, or Slaanesh's Daemonettes.

Please keep in mind that though alliances may be made, some races will not align with certain others, or not at all. Imperials, and Witch Hunters can ally amongst themselves only. Tyranids and Necrons will not ally with anyone. Daemons and Orcs can form shaky alliances with each other, and the Eldar and Tau can form a weak agreement, if not an alliance.

Here are the currently accepted characters, along with the one that I will be playing.

Here is my character.
Name: Illyrian

Gender: Male

Age: 92

Race: Eldar

Special Trait: Observation. Illyrian's war-heightened senses allow for him to see well, even in almost complete darkness, and the Webway is only slightly difficult for his vision, thus, no ambushes are possible around Illyrian.

Items: Shurikan pistol, frag grenades(3), a week's rations, and a close combat weapon resembling a pair of nunchucks.

Bio: Illyrian was brought into training when he was 21, conscripted to fight for his craftworld, Iyanden. Life before that was boring and dull for him. He excelled in close combat, and could handle a gun well too, but nothing good enough to try for a warrior aspect. Still, he quickly became the best of his unit, and on the day his commander died, Illyrian took command and led his unit to a decisive victory, earning him command. His ship was on the way to check on a planet that might've been good for the Eldar to settle and start over, possibly begin to thrive again. It was a newly discovered planet, still early in development, and the ship was almost there, but he and his crew got sucked into a wormhole. His pilot, Na'thal'as, died in the crash, along with the co-pilot. The remaining crew members have gone missing. After a quick look outside into the inky blackness, Illyrian realized he was in the webway, home to the Harlequins, so he stumbled outside. Maybe he could find them and ask for help back to his craftworld, if he didn't die first...



Name: Unit 23

Gender: None

Age: Millennia.

Race: Necrons

Special-talent: We'll be Back

Items: Gauss Pistol, several energy packs to siphon Necron energy onboard his ship and direct it to Unit 23 (Built-In), Close Range Short Sword made out of Necrodermis.

Bio: Unit 23 was part of the Necron Force present on Medusa V. After the Failure of The Necron Lord Herald of the Storm to construct the Great Plyons and a Null Shield on the Planet, The Deceiver punished the Necron Lord, damning him to reside within Medusa for as long as the Warp Storm endured around the Planet. The Deceiver then teleported the Surviving Necron Forces off the Planet.

However, not all of the Necron Forces were completely withdrawn. Several ships were left behind, each performing their own seperate mission related to the Medusa Campaign. One was to track down and eliminate the Escaped Death Leper, the Deceiver having judged them too powerful to fall to the Tyranid Hive Fleets. Another was to locate the Ork Warchief Nazdreg and his remaining Boyz, having taken an Imperial Freighter. The Deceiver judged that their Presence was too dangerous, thus their Destruction was required.

Unit 23's own Ship was tasked to follow a retreating Chaos Warship. The Ship, though having relatively nothing of use to the Necrons on board, was deemed to be destroyed. Unit 23 and It's fellow 24 Warriors would do it, though a very, very faint part of Unit 23's floundering Necrontyr soul cringed at The Deceiver's smirk as he commanded It.

After doggedly following the ship's trail for several weeks, Unit 23's ship located the Chaos Warship, still badly damaged from the battle. Upon receiving confirmation from the Deceiver, the Necron Warship snuck up and burned a hole through the Chaos Warship's engines. Immediately after, the Necron Warship shredded the captured ship to tiny slivers of Metal. As soon as that was done however, a Wormhole opened right in front of the Warship, dragging it in before they could even react.

Unit 23 is currently on standby mode, his ship having been ravaged by the Wormhole. Due to the nature of the Warp, the majority of the Necrons with Unit 23 are Inoperable, their Souls having been Overloaded during the Transition to Warp space. Unit 23, having seen it coming, managed to survive while the others did not. Currently, their is still a viable source of Energy onboard. Unfortunately, the majority of the Gauss Weaponry had been thrown of during the Crash. Fortunately, the majority of the Weaponry is Inoperable to Non-Necrons, and would only activate if enough Necron Energy was supplied to it.

Name: Vre'tan

Gender: Male

Age: Cannot remember - since stasis 110 years have passed.

Race: Eldar

Special-talent: War mask of Khaine - granting the lack of fear or emotion in combat situations.
Eldar speed and strength meaning I am more far more agile than humans and stronger.

Items: Warp spider armour, warp pack and dual wielding wrist blades.

Bio: Vre'tan is an Eldar from the craftworld Anarus - Anarus being the lost foundry world of the Torn'lo or the Fallen Citadel, which was the main world of war before the fall of the Eldar. Vre'tan lost his memory of the events during the fall of the eldar, however the status pod he found himself in told him when he had been put in stasis. When he left the stasis pod he found a small Eldar outpost on a long abandoned planet. He was stranded there for 2 years before an Eldar scout ship found him and took him back to the craft world of Aloitoic. There he tried to settle into the path of the aspect artist, but soon the call of Khaine grew in him and he stirred and followed the path of the warp spider for 30 cycles. After that he found himself the victim of a varict'ol, when during the dance of Slannesh - performed by the harlequins of the laughing god he was marked by the laughing God to be seeker, an Eldar exiled from the craftworlds, living only to find lost craftworlds, so that one day the infinity circuit may bring forth the laughing God, and the rebirth of the dieing Eldar race. And so he set off alone, styling himself as a rogue trader, being given his own ship to go on his search, a search into the webway.

Name: Subject 7 "S7"

Gender: Neither

Age: Approximately 10 Human years

Race: Tyranid

Items:

Adrenal Glands (allow the Tyranid to enter a frenzied state, granting him faster movement and stronger attacks)

Toxic Sacs (coat the Tyranids scythes and teeth with an acidic coat that burns through exposed flesh)

Acid Spitting (Tyranid has developed Toxic Sacs in its mouth, allowing it to spit acid onto a target a few feet away)

Regeneration (Allows this Tyranid to Regenerate over time)

Bio: Born with millions of other Tyranids, this specimen was part of Hive Fleet Leviathans boarding of the imperial vessel. They were meant to investigate the cruiser, searching for a good place to attack the ship and consume the organic material for making more Tyranids. This specific Tyranid, along with a few others were captured and experimented on. They were locked in containers, ones that could not be broken. S7 escaped when the ship crashed, escaping from his cage and tracking down the remaining crew members. His black and red carapace help in blend in with the darkness, allowing him to approach to within a few feet before being seen. This Tyranid regenerates slowly over time, allowing it to continue its hunt after a few hours of resting.





Name: Subject 6 "S6"

Gender: Neither

Age: Approximately 7 Human Years

Race: Tyranid

Items:

Toxic Sacs (coat the Tyranids scythes and teeth with an acidic coat that burns through exposed flesh)

Acid Spitting (Tyranid has developed Toxic Sacs in its mouth, allowing it to spit acid onto a target a few feet away)

Bio: Born around the same time as S7, this Tyranid is slightly less blood frenzied the S7, but will still attack the remaining crew members on site. This was one of the Tyranid sent down with S7... and keeps its rage in check.

Names: S5, S4, S3

Gender: Neither

Age: Approximately 8 Human Years

Race: Tyranid

Items:

Toxic Sacs (coat the Tyranids scythes and teeth with an acidic coat that burns through exposed flesh)

Acid Spitting (Tyranid has developed Toxic Sacs in its mouth, allowing it to spit acid onto a target a few feet away)

Bio: Three more survivors of the Tyranid stealth party, commanded by S7. They now hunt under his watchful eye, hoping to kill all other surviving crew members.

Name: Karkesh the Sharp
Gender: None
Age: Unknown (doesn't know)
Race: Daemons (Khorne)
Items: Hellblade, skull with Khorne's symbol, metal breastplate, cup with Khorne's symbol, mask carved from a skull, bone belt
Special-talent: Karkesh is very cunning for a Khornate daemon, and can learn new things quickly by observing others. For example, during a raid with a World Eater's warband he found out how to use guns (a weapon he had never seen before) by observing the chaos marines using them.
Bio: Karkesh lived almost all of his life in the warp, fighting with the other bloodletters. He won most of the battles he fought in, and survived the ones he lost by escaping before he got killed. One day he, along with fifty other bloodletters, was summoned by a World Eater's warband to help them raid an Imperial settlement. The first group sent in to raid the settlement was massacred when a squad of Space Wolves arrived, Karkesh only managing to survive by escaping into a sewer and killing any guardsmen who followed him. When the second group assaulted the city, Karkesh joined them and they manged to destroy the settlement. After the battle, Karkesh and several berzerkers were put on a ship headed towards the Eye of Terror. However, a wormhole appeared and sucked the ship into the webway. When Karkesh woke up he found that almost everyone was dead, and those who were not dead he decided to kill himself.

Name: Corporal, Laurence 'Hawk' Tennant.
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Race: Imperial Guard
Special-talent: Camo Cloak- It is harder to see and to hit him.
Items: Lasgun, Medkit, Bayonet, Binoculaurs, Rations, Extra ammo.
Bio: Part of the Orlanc 3rd Light Infantry Regiment, Laurence has already served there for 5 years. He got his name Hawk for always being the first to spot the enemy. He got assigned by his Captain to look over a small squad of White Shields on there way to join the regiment. With there shuttle suddenly crashing Laurence got hit in the head by a not secured ammo case and blacked out. When he woke up, the White Shields where gone and so where the pilots. There were also no since of struggle or blood. Getting his equipment and necessary supplies, Laurence made his way out of the shuttle.

Name: Shas'Ui Tau'n Lynu (Adamant Sergeant from New Tau)

"Sarge"

Gender: Male

Age: 23 Tau'cyr (approximately 18 Terran years)

Race: Tau

Items: pulse rifle, Bonding knife (symbolic purposes), repair kit, plasma grenades, shield drone, tracking drone

Special trait: Blank- psyker powers are ineffective and his presence gives them splitting headaches.

Bio: Conscripted into Tau military at 16, promoted to Shas'Ui at 20 after the first Trial by Fire, in which he was left in the jungles of Pech for one week without supplies. He was one year away from promotion to Shas'vre and getting a battlesuit to call his own. He was en route to Kronus to aid Shas'O T'au Kais when he was attacked by Dark Eldar, who crippled the Orca and forced it into the Webway. He hit his head on a lamp and lost consciousness. When he awoke, everyone was gone. Likely, the Dark Eldar took them.

Name: Goresmas'a

Gender: Neither (or male if you consider Orks to have a gender.)

Age: (Not sure what to put here lol)

Race: Ork

Special: As with all mek boyz, he very good at making weapons and or vehicles of destruction. Though he need a lot of material to make something.

Items: Pistol, Ax for choppin, frag grenade(If allowed), extra ammo clip, Wrench, nail he chews on.

Bio: Goresmas'a is part of a newly made clan of ork called the Bone 'Eads(My ork clan I made up). He roughly a ork mek. He and his boyz mission was to see if this new planet can be a fun place to fight when his ship got suck into the wormhole. Once he woke up from the crash he found his boyz all dead, guess they weren't orky enough to live. He pick up what he could from their dead bodies, ammo and extra spiky bits for his armor.

Name: Corporal Richard Ellis
Gender:Male
Age:22
Race: Imperial Guard
Special talent: High Endurance and survial instinct, living in harsh woods in his world has toughen him up. Making him more resistane to fatigue and stress, and he knows a little or two about surving out in the wilderness and years of hunting have made him a good shot.
Items- Standard laser rifle, 2 days of rations, surival knife, medkit, Backpack with light camping gear.
Bio- Richard used to be a simple woodsman on his home planet and would rather live off the fat of the land than in a big city, till getting drafted into the 89th Echolon Regiment. All though used to being a loner he worked well with his team and managed to help them get through the thickest of situations. His skill with a rifle was nothing to be overlooked as well, all those years of hunting as giving him a sharp aim.

One thing Richard never told people was that he truly never cared or thought the Emperor to be a god, and didn't like having to fight on his be-half. Or like the idea of dying and to never return to the lush and green back home. Determined to live he planned on leaving his dutys and to steal away form his company, only to have fate do it for him. After the crash he thougt being stranded and alone wasn't so bad, if only it weren't for the hostile and unwelcoming vibe he got from it. He knew he may end up fighting and dying to the Emperor's enemies anyways, but now he would do it alone.

Gender: Male
Age:43
Race: Imperial Guard;Shock Troopers; Kaskrin.
Special-talent: Specializes against the forces of Chaos
Items:Hell Pistol (Slightly better Laspistol) Rations. Medkit. Kaskrin Armour. Bayonet
Bio:
Background:Ace was born from a Poor Family on an unknown planet, on the outest reaches of Imperial Space. During his Teen Years, an Ork Waagh was launched and the Planet was over-run within days. A Small Cadian Retrieval Force was sent to retrieve all survivors and Ace was one of the few. The survivors were sent to Cadia.
Military Career:Ace trained to become a Shock Trooper. During his Whiteshield Years, he was noticed by the Officers and was sent to Kaskrin Training.
Ace served in the Cadian 3rd Shock Troops and fought in the 13th Black Crusade on Cadia. These tormenting months toughened him up and hence made him Specialize against Chaos

Please notice that I do expect everyone on this RP to be kind and courteous. I expect that if you are on this, you will keep up with the RP, which means at least one post a day. Failure to post often or being discourteous WILL result in suspension from this RP. I want this to stay fun for EVERYONE.

Note: Anyone who posted armor on their items list has been changed to rations. extra armor isn't necessary. PM me if you want me to change it to something else.

CloggedDonkey, Yes, you may pick any clan, but there won't be too much of a difference between them all. I want to make every race and clan or such slightly different, but I don't want to make anyone overpowered. I will make a spoiler talking about that as well, So check sometime tonight for it.

I'm sorry but I must point this out. Grey Knights are not Witch Hunters. And Witch Hunters kill Pyskers not Daemons. Grey Knights are Daemon Hunters.

I am sorry, I was misinformed. I will edit and change that when I finish with the other parts of that post.

Age: Fought in the Horus Heresy. It looks like just a couple of 600 years ago to him.
Race: Chaos Space Marine (Night Lords)
Items: Armour, Chain sword, 2x Frag grenade, 2x Krak grenade
Bio: Was part of the drop site massacre on Istvaan V, Nakish has fought the lackey's of the corpse Emperor for millennia. Nakish has always fought using only close combat weapons as he relishes the look of terror in his enemies faces, just before killing them.
Has a great distastes for mutants and distrust Psyker's of any sort, just like the rest of his legion.

Having gotten the ''Honour'' of leading a ship of zealots, the ship got sucked in to a wormhole. After crashing, Hakish made his way towards the exit hatch.

Need anything changed?

Nonetheless, Please sign me up in Reserve please. I'll try to get back to you on this. If I don't answer within 2 days, or by the time you start, consider me out. I rather not drag this RP if I can't be sure I can be there.

You don't need extra armor. You already have armor on you. I guess you can take it, but it won't make a difference.

Once more, extra armor isn't necessary. Otherwise, it is all good.

He was en route to Kronus to aid Shas'O T'au Kais when he was attacked by Dark Eldar, who crippled the Orca and forced it into the Webway. He hit his head on a lamp and lost consciousness. When he awoke, everyone was gone. Likely, the Dark Eldar took them.

You don't need extra armor. Also, unless the pulse rifle is similar to a pistol, I would prefer if it were not such a powerful weapon. The drones are good so long as they have little if no weapons. Otherwise, it starts to become overpowering.

Bio: Goresmas'a is part of a newly made clan of ork called the Bone 'Eads(My ork clan I made up). He roughly a ork mek. He and his boyz mission was to see if this new planet can be a fun place to fight when his ship got suck into the wormhole. Once he woke up from the crash he found his boyz all dead, guess they weren't orky enough to live. He pick up what he could from their dead bodies, ammo and extra spiky bits for his armor.

It is almost perfect, but we can't change him too much, so I'm not so sure about being a Mek boy. I want characters to be as different as possible, while still being generic enouigh that nobody is overpowered. We will see what we can do.
