I still love Square Enix, but until they make a Kingdom Hearts HD Collection, The World Ends With You 2 and FFVersusXIII on Xbox 360, we still have some problems, get cracking on KH3 square!

I don't have a Capcom game, but I know they are evil too.

When have they ever done that?

mario, sonic, pokemon, zelda, the list goes on. all these games have had abysmal entries recently, either bringing nothing to the table thats new/fun[ pokemon black/white], or just being shit [skyward sword].

But all those games were good... I didn't think Skyward Sword was a great Zelda game either, but I would never call it anywhere close to bad.

same with ubisoft. what they put out is not shit, its good stuff. you just have a hate for them, for whatever reason. nintendo isnt the worst company ever, just that they are essentially the activision of casual games. they havent started a new series in near a decade, and if they have, it was pretty shit, because i keep up in gaming news, and ive never heard, in my decade or so of doing this, that "nintendo is making a new IP!"

Probably Ubisoft, I have abandoned them long ago due to their DRM.
Though my really personal choice is SPORE, I will never forgive Maxis or EA for this!
Of the things the OP mentioned, these fit the game the most.

*Not delivering what was promised
*Hype to the extreme (sometimes / always never delivering the hype)
*Casuals are better then hardcores (Oops, did we say that out loud?)
*Broken games
*Obnoxious / arrogant developers (People will buy our game because it is amazing)
*Clearly lazy development
*BUGS!
*Convoluted non-functioning DRM

Here I was expecting a game with a bit of respect for evolution-science and interesting gameplay, and they give me this shit based on intelligent design (their words in interviews!!) and with horribly dull gameplay and meaningless customization (functions never changed, you could only design appearances for objects. You were also forced to make the most ungodly creatures because you needed a certain type of mouth or hands to be effective.

There are those wonderful publishers that take the time to make lovely games for you, of course they want you to pay for the game, after all, it took them a while and a half to make it and plenty of effort, but out of all the publishers you know, which publishers would you say are most evil and which is THE MOST EVIL of the most evil publishers?

Evilness examples can consist of:

*Repeating the same game or series to make lots of monies
*Teasing fans with news of a game they have waited for for like ages and shit only to burst their bubble with a 'nah, never mind'
*Not delivering what was promised
*Hype to the extreme (sometimes / always never delivering the hype)
*Unnecessary DLC
*Unnecessary sequels to what could have been DLC
*Casuals are better then hardcores (Oops, did we say that out loud?)

No, it's because they refuse to have their DLC paid for. MS and Sony won't let free DLC slide, so they don't give it out.

Almost all the Left 4 Dead DLC was paid, invalidating your argument.

In what bizarro world does that make any sort of sense? How is that in any way fair to the customers who bought their games on consoles? Because Sony/MS won't let you release stuff for free you're going to punish US?

I mean, fuck, most people are willing to pay Call of Duty map pack prices so long as we get something.

Well games like tf2 have had stupid amounts of extra content, if you payed for all of that you'd be broke
L4D on the other hand, hasn't had that many actual content patches. They'd feel better about that. Can you blame them for not wanting to get the terrible PR they would get if they released the paid tf2 dlc?
People would have a shit fit, and their company would lose a lot of credibility.

I'm gonna say Capcom just for breaking my heart. The worst part is, they did it by making a fairly smart business decision.

I know Ace Attorney Investigations was not the highest selling game in the world. I know the sequel was probably gonna sell even less. I know as far as Capcom was concerned the DS was a dying system...

But still, by not releasing Ace Attorney Investigations 2, even knowing the franchise has a loyal fanbase...broke my heart.

Capcom HAVE betrayed their fans, with things like MML3 and AAI2 and releasing UMvC3 instead of fixing the problems of the original.
