Mass Effect 2 - Shockwave, Pull, Push on anything above Nomal difficulty.
This may be a bit late to the discussion, but I am currently playing through ME2 on Insanity (no, I'm not trying to toot my own horn, so anyone wanting to point that out: HUSH), and Pull + Warp is a fucking
devastating attack combo to use, particularly early on when your weapons do bugger all in the way of damage.
Pull is good for getting that annoying sod who keeps popping up over there, out of his cover and disabled, if only for a short while. Can also be used on the rare occasion there's a significant drop between you and them.
Push, A.K.A Throw, is good for much the same thing, temporarily disabling enemies stripped of their protection. Obviously best used when the enemy is near a handy drop, or even better combined with Pull for funtimes! Also satisfying to watch someone/thing go slamming into a wall at high speed.
Shockwave I found, is largely useless outside of its novelty "look at those poor buggers fly!" value. Good for scattering large groups of enemies, but you're better off just using Warp, Pull, Throw, Singularity, Slam, etc on individual enemies. So yeah, agree with you on Shockwave there.

The Klobb from Goldeneye. Easily one of the most useless weapons in fps history.
You win everything for a month for remembering that.
OT: Those little stick position matching sections during the cutscenes in Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy to the U.S.), not the regular ones, but the ones between the story events, you know, the ones involving the lead bad guy and his superiors. I found them intensely distracting, preventing me from focussing on what was being said.
Also the swimming skill in Deus Ex. A rebreather or aqualung aug worked just as well.
