Well, even though I am only 15, I see the world as a pathetic and completely ignorant world. Honestly people freak out when some celebrity gets slapped, and don't care about the thousands who die. How governments pass ridiculous laws or come out with an "environment plan" that will do nothing for 50 years.

I grew up in the 80's, and even though I thought everything was peachy back then, I look back now being more knowledgable and aware, and see that things weren't much different than they are now. We still had our wars (ours was the war on drugs and crazy Central America hijinx), we still had our vices (coke, crack, alcohol and whores) and we still had problems getting good jobs (if there were ANY jobs).

So yeah, you just took another step into adulthood. Welcome to the cynical world.
