Gears of War 3 because of all the hype and how great the Beta was thn when the game came out it was just shocking.

Worst game I've played this year? Or worst game that came out this year?
Of the mainstream big titles that came out this year, Brink was the most disappointing. You have to understand: I first heard about Brink after I had played Fallout 3. This was during a time when I had high expectations for anything with even the name Bethesda attached to it. Of course, I learned that Bethesda wasn't actually going to develop it, but I was still excited. The setting, the traversal system... man, I was excited.
Then I get it and find that it has barely a single player and that it's not really that different than any other team-based multiplayer shooter. I hated the horse-face characters, the game had bugs and it had connection issues.
I suppose Brink isn't really a bad game.... it's just so different and fell so damn short of what I thought it was going to be.

Disqualified for being released in 2010. And it really wasn't that bad. Sure, the story wasn't great, but at least the gameplay is still pretty good: if Prime is Super in 3D, then Other M is Fusion in 3D, for whatever that's worth to you. ID's Rage. It made Duke Nukem Forever look good on its launch day (for PC). For me, its definately Rage. Biggest let down and waste of money too.

Fine i change my answer ,the worst game released and in 2011 will have to go to dragon age2 then. Recycled dungeons , lack of coherent story, transformatiom from rpg to hack and slash , yup terrible game.
Lol I am the Fox News of Escapist. Sorry your post was long so I wanted to just boil it down. While I agree that the game was short...ish, it had a lot of content and was incredibly compelling. In comparison to Portal, Portal 2 was a pretty lengthy game. Or maybe it's because I spent so much time dicking around with the gels.Capitano Segnaposto said:
