'Two Times'

Can't remember who it's by, but that song makes me want to tear out my stomach so I cannot hear over the sound of my own screaming

Well I dislike screaming, metal I have no problem with but when the singer starts yelling like a howler monkey it just bugs me.

However my nominees are...

Empire State of Mind.

I fucking hate that song.

First off, it's been done before, way better. By me actually. She completely ripped me off, it sounds exactly like the time I recorded myself clawing at a chalkboard while two cats fought in the corner of the room and an inept composer rang out a dull-as-ditch-water piano lilt so boring that I didn't even know the piano was there.

There's hundreds of people who love this song, but they're just too easily impressed. The verses, lyrics and melody are bland and lifeless and the chorus is just horrible to listen to. To top it off, they put Jay-Z over the top? Ugh... didn't you hear how he and Linkin' Park destroyed "Yesterday"?

Here, torture yourself with this:

If this is your thing then great, good for you. But I stand by my opinion, otherwise it wouldn't be my opinion.

I like a lot of stuff that could legitimately be described as 'not music' so my tolerance for stuff that people consider bad is pretty high. As for Brokencyde, they're just hilarious, I can't hate anything that makes me laugh that much.

I think the worst serious attempt at a song that I've ever heard is...

I don't mind some of her other solo stuff and I genuinely enjoy some of the stuff she's done with the Black Eyed Peas but... yeah, I can't even sit through this.

I can't believe I actually found a use for that video.
NIKO BELLIC!!!!!!!! lmao

Holly crap i laughed my ass off.

I'm from around the Balkans, and i know this type of music, but this dude is TOP. He's having a damn stroke! oh man i cant stop laughing. And what the hell does "coocha coocha posso" means?! ..AHAHA

And the girl at 3:02 cant stop laughing. it's like, he told her "yo *****, this is my friend's bar so, come, be in my video-clip or he'll fire your ass." and she just looks around confused and amused at the same time. She'd want to get out of the shot, but she cant. Oh that's just hilarious.

l.e. i've just noticed the title. it's actually "kuca poso" lol

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd

...As covered by the Scissor Sisters
You've made me sad. That's one of the greatest songs ever.

EDIT: I apologize. I spoke before I actually opened it. Yes Comfortably Numb performed by anyone other than Pink Floyd is terrible. My bad.

I can't even find a video for the song 'Anime" By Soulja boy beacuse if you search for it you find more video responses ranting about how bad it is. I hate it with a passion, it's tortuous.
I direct you to http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/ir/yrt/specials/27559-yrot-anime-by-soulja-boy
to see a breakdown of just how bad it is.

Oh god, it's all come screaming back...

I don't know what was worse about that song, the song itself or the fact she confuses London Bridge with Tower Bridge (It may sound petty, but it pisses me off as a Londoner as they are pretty different).

Would this choice be because you're a guitar teacher and you're sick of hearing it?

OT: I don't actively go out and search for bad music, so I'll just post my least favorite song in my collection.

It sounds like every other Metalcore song, and the drum sound makes me want to rip my ears off.

As others have said ... I tend not to remember stuff I don't like, at least in this area. It's not an actual activity or food/drink/smell, so it's easier to forget :) And certainly don't go out of my way to sample more shitty stuff - life's too short and there's far too much excellence available nowadays.

Though I've definitely heard a lot of horrible low-talent stuff whilst sampling various artists over the internet or even on CDs. A lot of nerdcore and electro wannabes definitely fall into this category, alongside all the awesome stuff which is the reason I'm into those genres in the first place. When the bar of entry is set so low, you get a lot of crappy entries for the icebergs of greatness to float around in. If you want to listen to some shite, I'd recommend skimming the output of these categories and just waiting for your media player to drill down 3 or 4 tracks into the playlist.

obligatory more concrete and mainstream example: nickelback are pretty bad :D
and I was very disappointed by both alien ant farm and three doors down's albums, having bought them on the evidence of one excellent single each.

Ugh...Kid's Bop...anything coming out of that is just god awful. I don't know how it can even be qualified as music, but supposedly it is.

There are some other ones too, but the horrid phenomenon known as Kid's Bop still takes the top spot for horrid things in my book.
