Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Footage Enrages 'Net

Oh, geez. I don't know how to feel about this thing. It looks like a musical tour of the entire Final Fantasy series. Given the legendary quality of the music, that's not the worst idea ever.

On the other hand, why is FF1 shown in it's 8-bit originalness, but the battle with Ultros has new graphics? What the heck are these running along parts with decidedly non-FF pop music?

This is just so bizarre and alien an idea I don't know what to make of it.

why not just use the original game graphics? it would look way better than the crap they have there. are they actually gonna be charging money for this? because it looks like something knocked out by fans.

FYI, that song was in FFXIII. No, it still doesn't sound like Final Fantasy, I know. Just saying.

It's not a game that I will be paying or playing to buy, and I'm not entirely sure why anyone would get so heated up about it.

I mean... if I was given the brief of "you are going to play this RPG rhythm based game" I wouldn't even know where to think about what to expect. So this is... interesting.

It's just not for me. I can totally see why people say it looks boring. I just wouldn't know how to make it more interesting anyway!

I for one don't have any issues with this. But I'm not a FF fan so I probably don't understand the their rage.

But FF fans should've gotten used to things like this by now. I would tell them to just shrug it off and hope that it doesn't suck as much.

Sometimes I find myself watching trailers for games and thinking "What is the point of making this game, exactly?" X3

That's one of these moments.

Beyond that I won't pay money for it I don't see any inherent issues with the games existence.
Some people will have fun with it, that's fine with me.

But then again, it is Nintendo, and the amount of stupid, pointless games that they've released on the Wii and DS is uncanny.

It's Square Enix that's making the game. I see no problem with the game other then it being in a genre I can't stand.
