Ninja'd. But he's right, you get conned into thinking it's a nice and easy game with all the cutesy characters, read it's a curtain fire shooter, whatever that meant, pick normal difficulty and then, "POW!" you are getting stomped like crazy. Curtain fire? No it's bullet hell.

My favorite character has to be Marisa though, the only semi-normal girl in the project. Just saying.

What's more, the games have considerably deeper stories than pretty much any Mario game I've played.

I generally puke at cute games, especially Japanimation stuff, which really turns my stomach.
However two titles really stand out to me as being cute but awesome games.

and Disgaea

Pokemon Yellow.

Nothing is cuter than having your own pikachu follow you around.

Except having the option of any Pokemon following you around in SoulSilver/HeartGold. It also has better graphics, and it much cuter.

Viva Pinata is the cutest game I've played. I really enjoyed the music, the characters, the little critters, the colours. It was lovely.

Spoiler: I think this little guy is probably the cutest part of the game.

Boring? If you get bored then just torture your animals. It's a fun interactive way to get rid of your stress. (That reminds me, my real dog almost jumped off the second story for some reason. It's a weird world, isn't it?)

Loco Roco on the PSP is adorable. I love it.

Also Kirby games, I love 'em too.

Ahh yes Loco Roco! So simple and yet still so awesome. I did enjoy building that little house for them as well.

Sonice adventure 2's Chao were adorable, I spent most of my time raising them when I played that game.
