Okay escapists, let's hear your theories on the Universe. Is it infinite or is it finite? If it is finite, what is outside of it? And what about time? When did it start? Does there need to be matter for there to be time? Lets' hear your theories.
Mine is going to sound really weird, but it sort of makes sense.
The universe is both infinite and finite at the same time. My logic behind this is that for something to be infinite, it would mean there is nothing outside of it. And I think that that's exactly what is outside of our Universe, a vast expanse of nothing. Scientists also believe that the Universe is expanding, which suggests that the Universe is in fact finite. But as we all know, anything multiplied by or added to infinity is still infinity. So the Universe, in my mind is a constantly expanding infinite thing that is theoretically. possible to reach the end of. As for time, That's a bit more complex, so I don't have any theories there.
Sorry if my logic seems fumbled. What are your theories then escapists?
