There Is No Point Sniping On COD Online

Sniping is about killing people from a long ways away without anyone seeing you. If you can pull this off, keep doing it. If you can, just spawn rush with the shottie to give snipers something to aim at.
I usually snipe and I don't play hardcore. When you become good at it your kills vastly outweigh your deaths because you are sniping from a fixed position and protected.
In some matches where there aren't kill-cam or if you just don't know where they've glitched to... it get's super annoying. Because you can kind of see the point to that, even if it's a bit pathetic.
I just reposition after every two or three shots. A bit more dangerous, but it's a good strategy if you don't want to feel dirty after.

After firing the killing shot just don't zoom out if that was your only target - all they will see is the general direction of where the shot came from
Relocate and don't sit in the obvious sniping points over and over
Also I found quite recently that if you learn to scope + deep breath + lock on to target as soon as the scope fills the screen (all while moving) makes you a deadly force. I still haven't got it down to a T but when you manage it you can drop people like flies.
Also I really don't get how saying "coz" saves time from typing "cause" - it's only 2 less letters, that's only going to save what? 0.2 of a second?
EDIT: also just remembered I got my 38 kill streak on Bog, Domination using sniper tricks (claymores, good positions, repositioning, killing with the pistol for backup weapons etc) and I shot a fair few of the B flag so yea snipers can help

How bout you don't be bad at sniping and actually change position? Also if your that concerned about the kill cam, just play hardcore.
MP5 = One of the BEST weapons in CoD4 along with the M40A3 Sniper Rifle (with or without Acog scope)
Relocating doesn't seem to be that important, at least not on the 360. I've seen my friend spend entire matches on COD 4 in one spot, usually getting the most kills and least deaths.
