There Is No Point Sniping On COD Online

What I'm trying to say here is, on COD4 or COD: WAW, what is the point of Sniping? When the Kill-Cam reveals your position to the enemy, and they will spawn and hunt you down or find a spot and easily snipe you back because they know where you are. Also for the record, I use SMGs mostly, I'm just talking about about my experience of Sniper Rifles, so I'm not being biased. What are other peoples thoughts on this subject?

Just relocate if it's really a problem, like snipers do in real life. If it's not that much of a problem (seeing as 95% of your time doesn't involve them), what difference does it make?

We've all thought about this at some point whilst playing these games and we've all found ways around it or just accepted it.

I couldn't disagree more. I love the m40, and have gotten up to a 19 kill streak with it. Sniping if far from useless you just have to be decent with it.

And in response to a few points brought up-

"Whats the point of sniping in it you gotta move because of kill cams"
IF you don't camp and move every few kills it really shouldn't matter. . . besides, not moving is commonly referred to as "camping". Kill cams help prevent campers from getting their way.

"You can't always one hit someone!"
Then get good at head shots.

"People See you with UAV!"
Use UAV Jammer..
