Not creepy at all. Its really your choice in the matter to tell her or not. I'm the type that would because I try to be one-hundred percent honest with girls I am interested in. But that is just my opinion on it. You know her better than I do. Your call.

Over time? You should definitely let her know. Right away isn't always the perfect time. That's more of a "lying on the couch together" moment. You know, one where you perk up and say, "You know, I had the biggest crush on you for the longest time." Then you seem cute! On the one hand I don't think it would hurt to tell her, and it might be endearing for her to hear it
on the other hand she might find the original shyness a turn off and not telling her, and haing her find out latter doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

im not too sue what her reaction would be in relation to this as she seems to be fairly resilient when it comes to an situation such as a relationship, and i think we're at that point now, where i could probably tell her most things, however i dont think the shyness thing would be an issue as if you remember she only just recently broke up with her boyfriend who she was dating when i started to like her.

As a girl, I hate it when guys try to explain themselves. Just be confident and do it.

I hate it more though when I can tell a guy likes me yet he does nothing about it. It's like...grow some balls!! I would have gone out with a lot of them, if they had just asked.

Don't be like really upfront, I tried asking a guy out once doing that & it didn't turn out well, and then it became really awkward and now we're not even in the friend zone. Anyway I pretty much just had the one experience with this sort of thing so, yeah don't freak her out, hope it goes well for you be sure to let us know

i know what you mean, one of my best friends who was a girl asked me out a while ago, at the same time another one did, and i really didn't cope with it very well, me and both of these other girls never got together and we've really drifted apart kinda sad really... but i'l be sure to post the result of y endeavours on here tomorrow

nah, she's not that type of girl, and the reason she got dumped was because her boyfriends ex got dumped and wanted to get back at her now ex :S. ( this is gonna get confusing real quick) :L

Oh when you started to like her she had a boyfriend, I thought you liked her but before you could do anything about it she got a boyfriend, well in that case it really shouldn't mater because you waiting this long was the right thing to do, you don't want to interfere with her relationship with someone else for your own "selfish" needs. to be honest with you... yes, probably very well.

it's normally the over the top stuff that you need balls of steel to do that get the girl, especially so if you do it in a way that tells her you know what your doing and it doesn't bother you what others might think, because your in control of yourself.

so as much as you might not have expected me to say this, and i will say it again; Yes, that probably will work very well.

The friend zone is just something made up by guys when a girl they have liked for a while rejects them, they just don't want to accept that she doesn't like him that way. If a girl sees you as a potential partner then that isn't going to change just because you are friends with her, yes she may focus her attention elsewhere or give up hope but those things that drew her attention to you in the first place will always be there. So that "I don't want to ruin our friendship" line stems from one of several possibilities, either she doesn't have any attraction to you and never has, she is scared that a relationship with you won't last, she is more attracted to someone else or she is legitimately worried that a relationship would change everything between you.

No you should not, you can tell her once you are together for a while but spilling your beans how you "love her", "means the world to you",... while she hasn't done anything to earn this makes you look really desperate, desperation is not attractive (been there, done that, goes horribly wrong).

Remember you are trying to attract her, show her something that will make her want to be with you.
Minor example, as you ask her out find something she likes but don't go: "I got these tickets just for you"(that is desperation), say: "I'm going to this thing, would you like to come along", and when she asks if it's a date the answer is Yes, don't be vague about your desire that is how you end up being friends only.
