Just for the record, let this be known:
1) The green fuzz cannot be burned off of s tennis ball without burning the ball.
2) A burning tennis ball sounds terrible.
3) There isn't even enough air pressure in one to make it do anything more than a tiny Kerplut when it starts melting.

Simply put, tennis balls should not be the focus of your pyromania.

Most chemicals which feed themselves oxygen when a flame is applied will explode, as will any closed container that isn't a vacuum (IE, has something within it that can expand with heat) will explode.
